Beavertail
Heard my first Redwing singing along the creek behind work today...what a glorious sound! Also saw a couple groundhogs out today and some motorcyclists...sure signs of spring in my book. What does it for you?
lew
I've been working outside around the house the last 4 days wearing shorts & running shoes and that's always a good thing. Also nice having the warm sun coming thru the windows and not needing the furnace.
dave524
yesterday, opened a few windows after turning down the thermostat, heard a redwing and a grackle this morning, i'd say we are at least getting a preview. not going to pack up the snowblower yet though. Old Ironmaker
I hear birds. Maybe that's why my "wifes" cat won't come in. Saw a healthy coyote walking across the ice today. To bad he didn't see the cat.

spincast
Redwing blackbirds in our trees, followed by the Robins and then the orioles. They all come in about 7 days of each other usually. Pretty sure I saw a Redwing buzzing across the highway on Thursday. The should be yodeling out back any day now

Joeytier
Was able to leave a couple windows open for most of the day earlier in the week. Definitely was a nice preview, but its not spring to me until I can put a boat in the water. The 15 cm of snow were in the process of getting right now sure put a damper on the whole spring thing lol

MJIG
I'll know for sure when: there's 4 inches of water running across a certain road I usually take to work. I hear my sump pump kicking in and out all night long. there's perch and walleye for awesome viewing below the dams on the TSW.
