When I ice fish, its usually a 1/4 inch chartruse jig with a minnow on it.. simple and old school..

Whats your favourite ice fishing lure??

my favourites:

the smallest jiggin rap tipped with something like a minnow head, pinhead, mealworm or gulp

krocodile or gibbs gator spoon with 4" dropper to a gamakatsu hook with a minnow(walleye) or shrimp(trout)

For my jigging rod I use Northland Macho Minnow 1/4oz tip with Gulp fish fry or 1" minnow.

For my dead sticks, hook tip with salty and a cone shape sinker above the leader.

Buckshot rattle with a minnow (just the head if I want to downsize.) But I add 2 small willow blades on the split ring where I attach my line.

Chartreuse anything! My go to colour is always chartreuse. 1/8 oz jigs or buckshots for perch. Lakers, whities I used Williams in a variety of silver, gold, hammered, half n half. Different colours for different light conditions. If I'm jigging walleye on Nip its a 1/4 oz chartreuse jig tipped with a full minnow. Lake Erie the perch like my offering of chartreuse 1/4 oz jigs tipped with a minnow.

For pannies- jiggin rap

For walleye- 1/4 oz knuckleball chartreuse and orange. Unless I'm on Quinte then nothin beats a CC spoon IMO.

For lakers- mepps cyclops or airplane.

For pike- No lure required, just a big dead minnow and a good baitholder hook. Or snag someone else's line LOL

For brook trout- no clue, can't ever get em
