What an amazing person, but then again Jen is just one part of a strong family.

Thoughts and prayers for the entire O'Shea family.

She just won't shut down... had a seizure at 9 this morning, we managed to stop that. Rob (Dr Helt) has been here all day, now 10 hours and has made 3 trips to the hospital for more drugs as he expected she wouldn't make it past noon. Now 7:25pm. She has over 100 mg of Valium in her as well as a large quantity of hydromorphone. Her body is just not ready to call uncle.

Strong heart beat and breathing, all we can do is wait it out.

Leah's been up for 35 hours now and I'm trying to get her to bed. Daryl and Kristal here all day as well. My night shift I guess tonight, we fired nursing yesterday.

Wayne be strong. I spent my last night with my mother. Her doctor had briefed us on what to look for and expect, and he was spot on.

I feel for you and your family with this strong child, but nature will win.

When my mom was diagnosed at stage four. We were told it's a war and the ending will be the same. Wayne as I told you my mother was 90, we didn't fight the war she went with dignety, with us (12) by her side.

Times are difficult but remember the good times.

Well I'm at a loss for words Wayne and Leah, Jen is so strong, I thought for sure she had this thing beat. I am ever hopeful, but if it is time, may she go with the angels and be at peace. You are in our thoughts and if you ever need anything, I mean anything, please give us a call. So sorry to hear this.

Take care O'Shea family

Now you know what I couldn't fix Hun!

Thanks for the thoughts.

Sitting here doing our favourite thing together, watching a big lightning storm out the window. I can see it and I'm giving her the play by play. :)

So sorry to read this just now Wayne. The big storm you mentioned a short time ago just blew through Newmarket and I wonder if that was Jen stirring up the heavens before she leaves you and your family for a better place.

God bless

I have not been on her in a long time and felt like I needed to see whats going on at OFC. I have been watching Jen's journey and she is truly an inspiration. My thoughts will be with you and your families for these tough days ahead.

I'm sure there are a lot of people besides myself who are checking this thread for the inevitable announcement. The fact that she is holding on goes to show her spirit and will to live.. she is truly one of a kind.. I don't really pray but I will today...

Hang in there Wayne and Leah. Your family is a true inspiration to us all

This thread goes to show how strong our little community is

Great work OFC

Jen is one who has beaten the odds, proved the specialists wrong, and conquered adversity more times in the past 5 years than most people could ever do in an entire lifetime - more than one life-time. Jen truely is an inspiration to everyone with whom she has come into contact. I see Jen letting behind a legacy that many will remember and look up to - for many years to come. Truely a first-class lady. Sad times for all of us here on OFC - she's become part of all our families.

Leave the computer for a few days to come back and read this. I am so deeply saddened by this news. I don't know quite what to say. God bless you and your family, and may God keep Jen close by his side.

Thoughts and prayers for you and your family - if everyone in the world had your daughter's strength, courage and determination, we'd be living in a perfect world.

Safe flight Jellybean, I love you.

Guess she wanted to make sure we never forgot the date, as she knew our love for her was twice as strong as Leah and mines love for each other. Our 33rd Anniversary today.
