jimmer Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 I saw Old Iron slightly rant on another post about someone wearing krocs and I was just wondering how many guys on this forum wear them? It would interesting to know.
Garnet Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 I wear crocs. An who cares what Iron said says does do's they are great.
crappieperchhunter Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 Have 2 pairs. Love them for wearing around the cottage in the summer. Also have a pair at the front door at home that are my slip on something quick to go get the mail or take the garbage out shoes. However they are downright dangerous if you have wet feet or your walking on ground with a steep grade.
dave524 Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 I wear them with socks, drives the old lady crazy ?
glen Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 Just as a quick slip on to go on the deck or ioutside for a minute. Launching when I need to go in the water. But running shoes go on for in the boat because I like the traction.
leaf4 Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 Super comfy. Love mine for work around the yard

Ha---a side benefit!!?I wear them at the beach---not too much chance of slipping there. Also on pavement. They are treacherous anywhere slipping is a prob deck of a boat, rough terrain. He was off work for 3 weeks. I've had a pair of Krocs for 10 years and I don't wear them much, they stay at the cottage.
Tom S Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 Krocs are like pajamas - wear them around the house, but please don't wear them out.

I went and picked up some eggs at the farm down the road at 6:15 this evening. Two pairs of real dirty crocs at the door. I see them there all the time. Easy to hose off. I don't think they wear them at milking time though. Cheers
bigugli Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 My buddy used to wear them while watering down the rows of tomatoes. That was until he did a 2 and a 1/2 gainer with a twist after hitting a patch of greasy mud. No traction at all
Garnet Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 When new Crocs have great traction. Only cheapos keep wearing them when the treads get wore down. New pair every year.
AKRISONER Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 (edited) hate to say it folks, but they are the best damn fishing shoes you can buy. I dont wear them much outside of the house because yes, they shouldnt be worn anywhere in public...i still somehow manage to find myself wearing them more than i should because they are so comfy and easy to put on. mine are real tree HD as well lmaooo Drives the GF absolutely nuts Edited July 13, 2018 by AKRISONER
grimsbylander Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 Never had a pair. A record I intend to keep intact.
John Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 Crocs are awesome. Have a pair outside the front side and back doors of the house! A pair in the trailer and I think one or two others kicking around somewhere!
gordy28 Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 Love my crocs - they are ugly but comfortable and great for around the cottage Drain water easily and are cooler than running shoes
Old Ironmaker Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 There should be a law enforced by the Fashion Police. I'll stop there before I get fined by Art. 1
Can_38 Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 Wife laughs when at the cottage I take my flops off and put my "work shoes" on to do chores etc... Yup Krocs are my cottage work shoe
AKRISONER Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 i originally thought that your feet would get sweaty in them, and that they would stay wet...but they dont and you can stand on em all day and be as comfortable as any running shoe. how can you beat that
Garnet Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 If the fashion police are fining me for Crocs. AH I'm in the perfect spot.
