2008 Princecraft Pro174SS, 90 4S Merc on rear.....120KPH all day with Ford F150 on front.... 38-40MPH on the water 2 up without the truck... I guess my take on this is really who cares about a top speed. If ya wanna go faster go bigger in general terms.

2001 starcraft 160 starfire sc with a 2004 70 hp johnson(suzuki) 4 stroke 2 people 35 mph.whole family with the dogs 30mph.

My 91 chaparral 20 ft with the v8 305 used to do 50mph with just me but now its about 47, boat full of people it will still go over 30mph.

That's with a 17p aluminum prop. I can hit 40 with a 19p aluminum but I lose some maneuverability.

99 Lund rebel side console with 50hp honda. Best conditions, with 2 and gear, 30MPH. Don't know how much more I could get with a different prop, as that is close to redline. I generally run around 26-27mph when I need to get somewhere.

Had a 12 foot tinner, 6 hp Johnson. Me alone, 19 km/hour. Add a second person and it would drop to 11 or 12km/h. Calm conditions.

22 ft century hardtop, 5.0l inboard. 40 mph if you have deep pockets.....likes to cruise around 25-30 mph.
