Dave looks terrific we were going to come out to help u celebrate the installation of the windows but with no where to park except on the so called shoulder of the cowtrail we are stuck at home for the weekend

 

I wish the govt would work as efficient as u have building your cabin, maybe in ten years they will expand the parking lot with more gravel to accomadate all the new cabins being built, lol, Run for Premier Dave :worthy:

Glad we were able to help u out today Dave but in my wildest dreams I would never have imagined in the sub arctic we could not have found s spot in the tiny parking area to have put our truck and trailer

Many people r getting kick ass wages to do nothing up here with the govt. run for premier after u finish the cabin lol

Got a good chunk of the roofing underlay done today.

My neighbour dropped by this afternoon with a nice bag of whitefish and burbot fillets!!! He also commented how nice my cabin looks from the lake. You know, he's right!!! It does look pretty awesome.

Vacay over, back to work Monday.

Ordered my roofing yesterday. It should be here by the end of the month.

Then I just need to figure out how to get it out there so I can put it up.

Got some small details I can work on over the weekends between now and the time my roofing arrives.

That's not even a house, it's a home. Lease a Chopper to deliver the roof or hire the Brown family to haul it.

A metal roof is the best choice but be carful working and walking on it. Even a very little amount of moisture on it will make it slippery.

Finally got the front gable end sheatng and tyvek finished this weekend. Also got about 1/2 of the work that needs to be done on the back as well.
