Fisherpete Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 44" tiger muskie 51" muskie which I beat again a month later with a 53.5" First sheepshead
chris.brock Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 no, not for me my wife caught her first muskie last weekend though, then she started singing this annoying song- "I caught a muskie, you lost a big muskie, you suck, you rot, I caught a muskie........" it went on forever
LostAnotherOne Posted September 5, 2014 Author Report Posted September 5, 2014 I've been out fished by my women too. Two years ago my PB Smallie was a 19" and she boated in a 20". I probably caught over 200 bass in my life and she about 5, but she caught the biggest one FOR NOW
Can_38 Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Really my first year of routine weekly fishing so pb's are easier for me 19" SMB 2+ lbs 17.5" LMB 1.5lbs 36" Pike
Moosebunk Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 PB ice and softwater lakers, and grayling so far this year.
Old Ironmaker Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Guys I have a motto I try and live by, " Never date an ex wife and never fish with a future ex wife". Personal best this year 12 pound 3 oz Walleye, from Erie of course. Cheeks the size of a Fillet O Fish. Usually wouldn't keep a fish that size but its Erie and it's swim bladder was full coming up from 80 feet. If I would have released that fish the guys that have fished here for eons would have sent me over the side.
tender52 Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Not me this year, but, my daughters got a 14 inch perch. A 17 inch sm bass respectfully. Finally put my nefews on their biggest fish. ( sm Bass they are used to sunfish from shore )
BillM Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 PB laker throught the ice, PB spec (maybe, I should have measured the damn thing), PB smallie a few weeks ago as well (A tad over 6lbs)
fishindevil Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 No PBs yeT for me this year but I have got a nickel smallie and a few more that were right there !!!! But I still have a few months to chase the brown fish around yet and once all the citiots go home it will only get better as the fall weather is Comming and still have a few trips way up north to some famous smallie waters to fish yet so hopefully a pb is just a matter if time !!!! Fish-on !!!
davey buoy Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 About 3 weeks ago a little over 6lb large mouth bass. What a nice little battle that was.!!!!
mike rousseau Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 PB musky @ 54.25" Also had a PB walleye tournament year with 1st, 1st and 2nd for the 3 tournaments I do... And set a PB weight in one of them breaking 20lbs with 3 walleye... Still hoping for my local 14lb walleye this fall....
misfish Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 PB Small mouth. 22" mid-high 6,s although many insist it was a tad over 7. Bring a scale from now on. PB Simcoe Laker 33.7/8" No weight taken, but a chunky one . Again, bring a scale from now on.
spincast Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 43 inch piker and a walleye I didn't measure (anyone care to hazard a guess?) . Other than pike (my goal for this year was to break 40) I didn't measure any of my catches this year
Craigson Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Just a 15" Speck for me. Sadly I watched a spec over 20" spit my Mepps out right at the net. Hoping to land my first Brown and Rainbow this fall/winter. And maybe a Chinny or two if im lucky. Good luck all
Gnote Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Not a pb so much but i have gone 5 straight years without a single muskie. I have watched friends both experianced and new boat plenty of fish big and small. I have had follows and misses and fish get off but not in the boat. I went up to a friends camp in the kawarthas on my birthday and caught 12 little ones in one day. Yes. 12 muskie biggest was about 6lbs but it was soooooo nice. I dont think ill beat that number ever
lew Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Yes. 12 muskie biggest was about 6lbs but it was soooooo nice. And THAT'S the exact reason I no longer fish muskies in the Kawarthas
Gnote Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 I dont blame you, this wasnt a real lake though more like a puddle lol.
Christopheraaron Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Pb river speck @ 16" First sheepshead Pb channel cat at 29" Biggest steelhead probably a little over 30" First cutthroat and cutbows An unimpressive pb walleye at 23" First ling and whitefish Still waiting to get my first bass of the year over 5...
