Oggie Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 That's embarrassing for Ottawa! I attended 67s games for years and they were always sold out. Wonder if that's still the case. Maybe the fans like young players that give it their all.
manitoubass2 Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 That's disappointing for a Canadian team. Move them to QC like someone else mentioned. 1/2 hour is too far, what a joke. That sounds soooo small town. I drive half hour for groceries lol. I also drive 5 hours to watch the leafs in Winnipeg. Whatta big difference in fan mentality eh?
DRIFTER_016 Posted April 28, 2017 Author Report Posted April 28, 2017 Heck I'll drive 1/2 hour out of my way for a good burger!!! Don't ask how far I'll drive for a good tackle shop, good cheese or fishing!!!! "OH no I can't go to the Sens game. It's too far!! WAAAAAA" :shakes head:

manitoubass2 Posted April 29, 2017 Report Posted April 29, 2017 I drove 6 hours out of the way for a good burger once......... I miss Mikos. I drove for a day to get to white castle, they made a movie about it ???
jimmer Posted April 30, 2017 Report Posted April 30, 2017 Well, I have to give the Sens credit for that comeback and win in overtime.
Acountdeleted Posted April 30, 2017 Report Posted April 30, 2017 Same. They have really been playing well. Same with the Oilers. Impressive play by both remaining Canadian teams.
leaf4 Posted April 30, 2017 Report Posted April 30, 2017 This Pittsburgh Washington series is going to be over pretty quickly if the caps don't start getting a more balanced attack... Crosby makes everyone around him way better by opening lanes that might not be available without his hockey IQ, imo thats the biggest separation between Crosby and ovechkin, Ovi still plays too selfishly

I won't be surprised if this is over in 4. Pens have been all over them. Congrats to the Sens, that comeback was awesome! Edited May 1, 2017 by BillM
manitoubass2 Posted May 2, 2017 Report Posted May 2, 2017 Aaaaaaand as quick as we said that Crosby might be concussed
leaf4 Posted May 2, 2017 Report Posted May 2, 2017 Yuuuuppp, bad series of events that led to that... Surprised and not surprised at the niskanen ejection. I don't think there was much he could've done tbh... He was bracing to cross check the body and all of a sudden it's a head instead lol
Acountdeleted Posted May 2, 2017 Report Posted May 2, 2017 HOly snakebit! Washington is up 2-0 with 2 minutes left in the game and they blow it. Geez.
chris.brock Posted May 2, 2017 Report Posted May 2, 2017 Crosby is out for game 4 (who knows, his season could easily be over). I wish game 4 was tonight, I'm looking forward to watching that one.
Moosebunk Posted May 3, 2017 Report Posted May 3, 2017 Need the Caps/Pens series to go 7 regardless of who wins... And Sens to finish the Rangers in the 5. In a perfect world.
AKRISONER Posted May 3, 2017 Report Posted May 3, 2017 rangers are back! im calling NY in 6 Ottawa has only had the lead for a total of 4 minutes through 3 games...smoke and mirrors.
grimsbylander Posted May 5, 2017 Report Posted May 5, 2017 The worse part is Karlsson not coming back for the 3rd. If he doesn't play the rest of this series, goodnight. Go Rangers!!!
AKRISONER Posted May 5, 2017 Report Posted May 5, 2017 lmao watching lady dion snipe that goal last night was awesome too bad it was on andersson and not henrik
davey buoy Posted May 5, 2017 Report Posted May 5, 2017 I like Ottawa now as Matt, thinking Rangers have woke up,looks like they will put this away ,especially now Karlson is gone. Who,knows, but thinking not so good for Ottawa now
muskymatt Posted May 6, 2017 Report Posted May 6, 2017 Sens are in tough. They don't seem to be playing with any competitiveness. That said the series is now a best of 3 with 2 in Ottawa. I hope they wake up or they will be done.
Acountdeleted Posted May 6, 2017 Report Posted May 6, 2017 Oilers pulled a Leafs. That is youth an inexperience speaking. It's a shame too. Thought they had this wrapped up. Now it looks like they'll be planning for 2018
leaf4 Posted May 6, 2017 Report Posted May 6, 2017 Yup, that's about as close as you can get to what happened to the leafs, only the Leafs lead was lost over a spread of the Las period... Not 3 minutes haha
grimsbylander Posted May 6, 2017 Report Posted May 6, 2017 Looks like Crosby just might be playing the next game...key word, might. The way OV and Holtby are playing there's no rush. Lol
