If the rock is swinging, the wind is blowing. If the rock casts a shadow, the sun is shining. If the rock does not cast a shadow and is not wet, the sky is cloudy. If the rock is not visible, it is foggy. If the rock is white, it is snowing. If the rock is coated with ice, there is a frost. If the ice is thick, it's a heavy frost. If the rock is bouncing, there is an earthquake. If the rock is under water, there is a flood. If the rock is warm, it is sunny. If the rock is missing, there was a tornado. If the rock is wet and swinging violently, there is a hurricane. Always 100% right! S.

lew
They were bang on for my area last night, both with the amount of snow and the time it would start and stop. They also said we'd get some sun this afternoon and that's exactly what we have right now. Course it's not very often that happens

Terry
How do you tell the difference between a tornado and fog though? LOL in fog, you can't see where you think the rock is tornado, you can see where the rock was yesterday. but it's not there now
lew
Hey Lew, our cottage is west of Buckhorn. Still have a foot on the roof. How much snow did you get last night? We only got 5" over here but it's about 4 degrees right now so it's really heavy, but the good thing is it's melting too. I've got a gravel driveway and cleared it a couple hours ago and most of it is bare now. Big Cliff is over on Sturgeon and he said they got 6-8" so you should be somewhere in between. Big Cliff
Got out and cleared mine before it got too warm so it was still nice and light. Then the wind came up and drifted a lot of it back in. It has warmed up enough now that it isn't drifting any more and things are starting to melt again. I sure hope this is the last of it though! lew
I'm hoping for a slow melt Sposed to be cool for the next few days around here but then climbing to about +6 by next weekend and staying like that for awhile, so that should get some melting happening. Hope it doesn't cause any damage to your place.
