I was told some people kill any pike they catch there due to the number of brown they eat. Not a good thing to kill them... I guess that was not taken in Canada is it? England? But when I was fishing Labrador a few years ago there was this little tributary stream on a lake that was loaded with 6-8 inch brook trout. There was a huge drop off where the stream entered the lake and we would cast brook trout pattern streamers there and nail pike all day long.
