  1. What get's me rolling is when they send me a letter to tell me they are going to send me a letter next week....Thanks for letting me know.
  2. Just saw that as well. Glad the kids are safe. Twocoda. I understand where you are coming from, but it is not always in favour of the mother. As for my cousins, thank you, it was the man who was married to my Aunt at the time who just "went for a drive" with them. Regardless Cheers for keeping this on top to help find two innocent children.
  3. And an even sadder day when you never see a loved one again. I had two cousins abducted about 30 years ago. To this day nobody knows if they are even alive. I will always take an Amber Alert seriously!
  4. I just saw this on the Weather Network and am ust trying to help spread the word. http://www.ctv.ca/CTVNews/Canada/20120105/amber-alert-kara-aiden-johnson-120105/
  5. If it were me I would be looking at the fact that it is a 2 year old vehicle that was sold with problems. Then covered up a couple of times by the dealership. Leads me to believe what problems you are going to run into after a year? I would be taking the vehicle back and going somewhere else.
  6. That is a good price. Just make sure that it's not the Naked model. It comes with no mounts. At regular price I am cheaper then FS but when they have blow outs like this I feel like I should go stock up because that's cheaper than my cost. The ride mount is a good one to get. You can clamp onto the rails of the boat, paddle, etc.
  7. Don't get your hopes up....I was still able to get my yak into the back bays of the Larry on Sunday. Not sure what inland lakes are like but it's supposed to be plus 10 tomorrow.
  8. I've gone that way through Cochrane. When I did that drive make sure you had lots of gas. That route was SOOOOOO boring. More so than the praries to me.
  9. Check out Saucony's run glove or flip mitt? Very thin and the mitt goes over the top of your hand but the palm is still the thin glove?
  10. It could be hit or miss either way. I've gone both ways (on the road)several times. I'd have it good going through canada one way and crap through the states the other. One time going through the states they closed the interstate. Transports and 4x4 only at first and you had to be engaged or get a ticket. Then they closed it all down. Had to go way south. Took me four days to go from Windsor to Portal... Be safe and have a great trip! If you get a chance go across to the Ice Fields parkway from Red Deer, you'll see some fantastic sights!
  11. Congratulations!!! Good luck on your new venture!
  12. Congrats to the guy who caught and released the fish. Yes the story is a little fishy. The local reporters here are likely at fault as well? I know the area quite well as it is literally my back yard I too am questioning the water depth? Although I cannot find my charts (there here in the house somewhere?) to verify. Reguardless they are here. Had a big one swimming around me while standing in the water putting out my duck decoys a couple of weeks ago. Funny how something like that makes you scream like a little girl.....
  13. I used to work at Viamede, not a bad spot. There was no church on site then, the one in the picturelooks like one that was about 1/2 hour away? Mind you this was also 22 years ago...If it's a small wedding their was also the Church on the Rock on Stoney Lake, I always liked that. As for Deerhurst, I do not recommend them. I stayed there a couple of years ago. $300.00 for the night. Had to park at the airport because their parking was full. I was responsible for trying to figure out how to get to and from my truck, they would not shuttle. That's just the beginning of my brutal experience with them.
  14. Ha ha ha, looks like a night club I used to work at. Can't wait to see the new line. Toys are always fun to look at....
  15. No way! Doesn't look like a Lowe Stinger???? Joking, great looking first mate!!!!
  16. They were when I bought my shotgun about three years ago.
  17. I'll take your word for it. While I was waterfowl hunting on the Larry this weekend coming back we saw a couple of muskies close to our boat feeding or whatever on the surface. Pretty cool sight to see. You're lucky you got to wear shorts. I was dying of heat having to be camoed up.
  18. Sweet, love seeing the kids out there. I just started waterfowl hunting three years ago and absolutely love it. (whispering) More than fishing, but don't tell anyone. I have the same SLO hat, at least that's what it looks like.
  19. I used a buddy of mines boat that is the same thing. I was very impressed with how stable it was. Great setup. Nice to see it teased and slimed!!!!!
  20. I may not be much of a writer, but would do my best. I hunt waterfowl every Sunday and Deer second week of November. If this is of any use to you I would be more than happy to sample your product and give my reveiw!!!!
  21. Yup they all have them. To add to the list, don't go to box stores, go to local bike shops and hiking stores. They are sold at the same price, even though the small guys pay more for them. I know as I do sell them myself. You will be very pleased with it. Very easy to use and versitile. If you have any questions feel free to message me.
  22. I got one of those bottles a few years ago when they were $3.00. Really good investment. Trying to figure out the chainsaw 40:1, boat 50:1, another motor 100:1, weedeater 30:1, the list goes on. I used to screw up the math, no I don't worry about it, get the bottle!!!!
  23. I would say legal. To minimize the phone calls though. Consider using a guitar case that locks or something that doesn't look like a gun. Just make sure you tell the officer if you get pulled over.
  24. I got mine as well. Two years in a row for me. Only been hunting for 3. Call it good odds? Being I hunt with my Ex's family, I consider it a security blanket for being able to join the club.....I have entered the same WMU in the second choice box. Phone last year, office this year.
  25. Wow, I didn't realize we had a Lowe's here in Brockville? Nothing out of the norm there. It's a driving and parking free for all here.
