PIKE SCARS - WHAT CAUSED IT?

I caught this recently and was wondering what could've caused it.

 

A bigger pike or boat prop?

 

Pike is about 33-35inches

If it was boating season, I'd say a prop.

The cuts look fairly fresh so likely a bigger pike.

Fish bite might leave a mark on the belly, I think your right osprey or eagle. It might have been too big for an osprey to handle.

Especially when you see the single puncture wound. The longer wounds would be scrapes from closing the talons together. For sure.

An osprey has a hard time flying against the wind with a half decent bass, with that he would be going backwards.

I have a hard time believing those are from another fish, i dont have a guess myself but id rule fish out.

Bang on, it didn't get this one either. It could have been an Eagle too. I watch them out here and even they don't get 100% of their prey.
