I'm sure most of these pictures have been here at least once, maybe more?

But here's my little girl Brook....

]wetandburred.JPG

Here she is at 5 months old trying to keep up with me in October while I'm chasing "steel," she's wet, cold and covered in burrs but determined to stay at my side. At this point I've only had her for one month and I'd later discover she hates water, can`t even swim these days even though she did that day.
She loves to be out with me anywhere, any time and always stays where I tell her to. Here she is guarding my tackle while I probe a small creek for Brookies and Browns, she won't approach the stream bank and spook my trout unless I give her permission. Awesome!

This is "Bucky"... he's a rescue dog we got back in May of last year. He came to us as "Lucky", but that name didn't jive with me too well. After getting to know him, we changed it to Bucky and he has been fine with it.

Apparently Bucky had spent the first four years of his life in a down town condo, so moving in with us when his owner took ill has been a real learning curve for Bucky.

I think I had to teach him that he can swim this summer at the cottage. He "fell" out of the boat a few yards from shore, sank, then bobbed up like a cork. After that,he was a wet smelly dog for the rest of the week.

Funny, he won't go in the pool, thankfully.

He been an awesome family pet.
