Every year I post pictures of the first fresh wild meat meal of the year. One reason that I do this I do this to remind myself that one of the reasons I love hunting and fishing is the harvest of bounty that were allowed (I like the beer too... but someone else makes that...)

So here we go...

Moose meat on the BBQ... tenderloin with Montreal Steak Spice, loin steak with Bulls Eye BBQ sauce... and round steak in my soya marinade.

a bit of mashed potatoes, some green peas and some rose and BAM!!!!

Good stuff TJ.We had what I thought was the last of the tenderloins Saturday night.Dredged in flour, pan fried in butter and sprinkled with greek seasoning. It dont get no better!Found one more in the freezer tonite while looking for some meat to make jerky.Might try the Montreal steak seasoning on the BBQ for this one.Looks pretty good to me.

Looks great, congrats on your meal. I also had my first wild meal, although not quite like yours, I had a feeding of grouse on the weekend. Makes one feel good and in touch with nature.

Got to admit though as others have I'm jealous. I know exactly what I'm missing out on having had the pleasure of sharing in a venison dinner at that very table with you good folks. :)
