  1. It may just be a fluke in the bottling process. Don't hesitate to return it to the LCBO. They will be more than happy to exchange it for you and then you will know whether to move on or stick with your old friend. Cheers Smitty
  2. The four motors on the corners look like they are mounted on an angle and would be propelling the boat on an angle. i guess if all the motors are synchronized perfectly it may be a non-issue, but if not I think it would be a job to keep it straight. Sure looks cool though!
  3. Cheers....Very well said. I applaud your courage for seeking the help, and applaud your willingness to share your story. This is the only way things will ever change in a positive direction.
  4. I could sit and watch that all day Lew. Very cool pictures. Cheers Craig
  5. Hi Steve There is actually a business in Hamilton The Garage Door Guy. His name is Wayne 905-383-2177. Mobile (truck based) business. Have used him for spring replacement and friends have used for new door/install etc. You will not beat his price. Cheers Craig
  6. Good on you Mike! Obviously made an impression on a stranger and no doubt will upon your son as well. Cheers Craig
  7. Awesome report Chris. I can't get over the colour of some of those Brookies. Looks like you had a wonderful week minus the blackfly scars. lol Cheers Craig
  8. If it is only happening under load (as it appears to be) I would check the belt for sure and then move on to the Primary and Secondary clutch needing serviced. Let us know how it works out. Good luck Cheers Craig
  9. Glad to hear a happy ending. Good job on CTC as well. Cheers Craig
  10. I picked up a Clam Bigfoot XL4000 Thermal today at BassPro for $344.00 (Reg $459). It has 64 square feet of fishable space. sets up and comes down in a snap. Only time will tell how its lasts in the long run but it appears better constructed than the Frabil that i had for the last 5 years Cheers Craig
  11. Just switched to iMAC from PC finally. The difference has been quite noticable for ease of transition and ease of use. No more worry about viruses etc. They are more expensive, but i believe they are worth it. Your old dvd with your programs ie Microsoft Office etc will not be compatible with the iMac platform and operating system. PC laptops seem to be very reasonably priced right now Cheers Craig
  12. I would doubt that the Province would have much input on this National debate. At least I would hope they don't. It would only serve to slow things down. Cheers Craig
  13. Hi Dan. You eluded to the wind during the winter on the ice. With your hut being approx. 18 inches off the ice (at least for now), you may want to consider making your floor holes the same diameter as a five gallon pail. You can then remove the bottom of the pail and slide it down from your hut as a sleeve to the ice surface. Works very well at blocking the wind and prevent hole blowing in or freezing. Good luck with your build, looks great. PS I agree with black paint for the hut to absorb sun heat and for visibility on the lake. Reflective tape will help the snowmobilers for sure. Cheers Craig
  14. Awesome slide show Matt. Congrats on a great year. With all the hand-feeding of the animals I saw, I half expected to see one with a bear or a moose eating out of your hand. Great picture and tune. Cheers Craig
  15. X2 on Michelin LTX M/S I understand you had a bad experience with Michelin, but i'll bet it wasn't this model. Great all round tire if they come in your size. Cheers Craig
  16. Hi Jay We are staying in West Bay off of the main lake. That is the only area that I have fished. Have you been to Winawiash previously as well? Cheers Craig
  17. Hey Jeff Glad you had a good trip. I am heading back to Club Trout lake in the same area on September 10th. Can't beat the walleye fishing in these areas for sure. Cheers Craig
  18. Good Morning Steve I have fished the area around Charlton lake Lodge a few times, but I'm no expert in the area. I found it productive for bass, pike and panfish. If you go south from the lodge through the narrows and then head east the the narrows entering Frood lake, I have done very well in this area for Smallmouth Bass. Drifted tube jigs and drifted worm harnesses worked very well. Evening bite was the best for me. If you head north from the Lodge through the narrows to the mouth of the West River, that bay is loaded with lilies and other cover. This area held largemouth and panfish in the shallows. Pike were also quite plentiful in this area. Morning topwater was a lot of fun. Hope you have a place to start and that you and the kids have a blast. Cheers Craig
  19. I can recommend Butcher Boy Charters in Erieau. Will have you on Walleye and Rainbows on Lake Erie. Cheers Craig
  20. That Ling is HUGE......nice going Cheers Craig
  21. About 10 or 15 minutes south of Espanola on Highway #6 you will find Widgawa Lodge. They have boat rentals there. They are located on the West river, but about a 5 minute boat ride along the river gives you access to Charlton lake and Frood Lake. Both are excellent pike and bass lakes. Enjoy Cheers Sandbag
  22. Hey Ironmaker I'm certainly not suggesting that someone with a mental illness can't be a criminal as well. There are certainly varying degrees of awareness with various conditions. I'm no doctor. I just meant I would hate for someone to be classified as a criminal based solely on the fact that they suffer mental illness. Cheers Craig
  23. Over the last number of years our governments have attempted to save money in the health care field by attempting to treat people with mental illness in the community as opposed to hospital treatment. While this sounds good in theory as being more humane than inpatient treatment, unfortunately people with mental illness do not always believe that are ill and often stop taking the medications prescribed to control their particular condition. Now when this person reaches the crisis stage because they havn't taken their medication, their contact is with first responders being police, fire or ambulance attendants. I also believe this is the reason there are so many more letal confrontations with first responders in the community now. I would never want to label someone suffering with a mental illness as criminal, but surely there has to be some safeguards for the community before someone like the accused from the Greyhound bus is released back into the community. I can't imagine being a member of his family hearing this person will be back in the community. Cheers Craig
