Hi Guys/Gals I spoke with our Lodge on Callandar Bay last nite. Thier huts went out on Tuesday afternoon on 10 1/2 inches of ice. Been really cold ever since. On an interesting note. All minnows used to be included in the packages offered. Now with the ban on importing non-native minnows to Nip, some of the outfitters are charging $5.00/doz. Which is their apparent cost. Not that this would change any trip plans, just letting you know there may be added costs this year. Regards

Just starting to get a little bit worried. I have an annual ice fishing trip with the boys planned for January 11th-16th on Lake Nippising. Things not looking too good right now for having ice. Anybody else getting the jitters about a planned trip????
