kickingfrog Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) No big deal just went to work on a construction crane and then had a massive explosion and fire underneath me. I climbed out the end of the boom and waited for an hour while the flames went higher and then I was rescued by a helicopter. This was downtown Kingston today. Edited December 17, 2013 by kickingfrog
kickingfrog Posted December 17, 2013 Author Report Posted December 17, 2013 Not me. I just picked up a sick 20 month old early from daycare.
lew Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 Good to hear he was rescued Rob, that's a bad spot to be trapped. Is there a link to the story anywhere ??
kickingfrog Posted December 17, 2013 Author Report Posted December 17, 2013 I would think at this point most of the major tv news would have it.
kickingfrog Posted December 17, 2013 Author Report Posted December 17, 2013 Anybody have tips on cleaning puke off of a kids car seat?

manitoubass2 Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) Anybody have tips on cleaning puke off of a kids car seat? so much paper towel you see nothing and feel nothing. Once its removed spray it once or twice with vinegar and water half and half. Itll stink at first but when it dries there will be no odour. ITS BEEN MY JOB MAN! nancur373 Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 On a brighter note he probably didn't get cold out in the elements
Fisherman Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 Went to Hoffmans in Stayner this morning, loaded up on on smoked ham, beef rouladen, pepperettes and a bunch of other goodies. Came home, off to the garage, mixed a litre of gas for the old auger, 3 primes, 2nd pull and it awoke from its off season slumber. Not bad for a 20+ year old Jiffy.
Rustic-Fisher Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 Nice !!!!Amazing rescue by the SAR techs at CFB Trenton !!! Almost as good as firing up a 20 year old jiffy LOL.
fishindevil Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 Ya that rescue was amazing I just seen it on the news !!!! Kudos to our military boys for getting him off that crane safe & sound !!!! Amazing for sure !!!!

SirCranksalot Posted December 18, 2013 Report Posted December 18, 2013 Well, if they took him to the hospital to make sure he was OK they should have stopped by his house so he'd have clean underwear!!

Locnar Posted December 18, 2013 Report Posted December 18, 2013 Epic dude. All I did was go fishing, and spend an approximate 6 hours in traffic, going to and from Barrie.
vance Posted December 18, 2013 Report Posted December 18, 2013 After I retired I worked Part time for Enterprise Car rentals shuttling cars around the GTA and I made more money going to Barrie in the winter than you can believe. One day we made 5 round trips from Markham going up the 400 unbelievable!!! People who had been in a big accident where impatiently wait for rentals, one guy gave me a hard time for not getting there sooner,I told him unlike his this car was in one piece, and he did complain to the office and I was chastised vance
