  1. Gonna re-up this thread as I was looking for the same answer. My question is if I go get a buck tag can I hunt with a shotgun or only bow as I didn't apply for the controlled hunt.
  2. apparently any engine gas or diesel. I was also told to fill my diesel fuel filter with it next time I change it to clean the top end
  3. Just in my own experience in my 2003 Neon. Shell V-power premium from a dedicated pump gets me over 500km to a tank and their regular gets just over 400km. Way back, I had a 1996 Cavalier that had that notorious chevy shake in the motor when idling. I called a bud who`s a GM mechanic to ask. He advised me to use premium gas and synthetic engine oil. By the second oil change she smoothed right out. Been using premium and synthetic in everything I own since. Oh BTW...the Husky I stopped at the other day has ethanol in their premium as well. Drove to the nearest Shell instead.
  4. Walmart had what looked like 3-4 gallon jugs right beside the fryer I bought. But I have a contact in the restaurant industry. Had Dutch-fried roast last night actually. Nothing like it. Beef, porkchops, rabbit, goose, chicken, and on and on. There`s just something about meat taking a hot bath in butter all day...
  5. For those not in the London area I just bought a bottle at Carquest. It's on sale for 9.69 for a 473ml bottle.
  6. my buddies dad has one but doesn't tow much. he loves it. I've been in it a few tomes and was impressed in the space and the quietness. Another friend has one and he tows his drag car to the tracks. He loves it.
  7. Shell premium (0 ethanol) in everything. Stabilizer and fog in the off season.
  8. Amen to that Cliff. Last Christmas I bought a Chinese shot gun because it was cheap and got berated by many (who have never fired one let alone owned one) saying it's junk. So far I have cycled many a load through her, cheap shot, expensive, 2 3/4 and 3". Never had an issue. Killed a few geese in early season. A few weeks ago I bought a brand new Mossberg 500, mostly for the barrel combo, and the very first time I fired it, it cycled and spit out an unfired round from the mag. Needs work right away. But my Chinese special has never failed from right out of the box. In fact it will be with me on tomorrow's opener and the Mossberg will be in the safe. Just goes to show that you don't knock it till you try it.
  9. Thanks everyone for suggestions. Thanks Sinker, I'll see you soon. I got three boys and a girl so going new at BPS, Cabelas, etc. is pretty much a no no. lol
  10. Also, the link is no longer valid. They're catching on
  11. My cousin just got the last two in a Brampton Walmart
  12. The little water left in the pot after you dump it out will not hurt. Remember you will be heating the oil from room temp. When the oil reaches 212F the water will evaporate and not violently. Water going into oil 212F and above is not good at all.
  13. We always did 5 min per pound. Correct amount of oil is key. Put the bird in and fill with water till it's completely submerged. Take out bird and note how much water is in the pot. Dump water and fill to about half an inch to one inch below the water mark to allow for oil expansion when it heats.
  14. Get em while you can boys. Markham 9th line Walmart had five in stock but would only make an exception for one unit as the bar code numbers did not match. I called Walmart customer service to ask if the would honor it but she said that the stores don't match online 'clearance' items ever. So I said to the manager of the store, "You're right, I'll just take the one"
