needed lake trout fix

and lake simcoe isn't happening without a boat

what do you do

you find another lake to fish

and that's just what we did

2.5 hour drive from simcoe but lots of ice

the lake holds walleye whitefish and lake trout

and it did not disappoint us

Lloyd was already on the ice when I got there and had only got a bass so far, but as we caught up on what was happening he hooked into a laker

then a nice walleye

my turn

some whitefish were caught and more walleye, so it was a good day waiting for simcoe to freeze over

I played with my new gopro 3 but was not happy with the underwater low light results. the marcum handled the low light much better...maybe it was the setting on the hero...a work in progress

time to get the boat out

How the hell did i miss this post!

Awesome job boys.

How deep were you using your gopro?....how did you rig it for underwater?

Is the marcum better in low light because it has infrared lights on the camera?

Fantastic fish too guys....that walleye was a piggy!
