Anyone have a small out board for my toon

Recommended Posts

Posting here ,since the classifieds seems mumbo jumbo to me. Looking for one of those small out boards like a 1.2-1.4  hp. 80,s era or above. Reasonable price.

Almost looks like that would be the right size.   Matter of fact they actually make kits for string trimmers.

Hello Brian.

Just got home yesterday.
I have a small 2HP Evinrude, but I think I will hang on to it as they are getting harder to find a good one.

I'll check over at the shop to see if they have anything around.

Even those girls aren’t going to help sell those things.  Five minutes and I’d be chucking the thing in the water.

4hp  is a bit too heavy Pete.  Between the battery and the electric,I am at 60 pounds. It,s not that it,s too heavy,it that I am charging the battery, lugging it. Having a light small gas motor would be nice to just fill and go.

    • Gull Lake, Temagami District - No Small Walleye... Puzzled

I just returned from a weekend trip to Gull Lake, just west of Lake Temagami. This is my 3rd time on the lake in the past 5 years. http://webapp.navionics.com/#[email protected]&key=qui}Gb}mhN I don't mind sharing the details of the trip because, in all honesty, the fishing isn't that good, and the road is awful. One guy ripped off both his running boards, the other guy lost a fender, and I dinged a trailer light. One spot was flooded so badly, water started seeping into the truck cab. Sc

    • Anyone with Motorguide electrical experience?

Hi. I have an older 82lb 24V MotorGuide Digital Tour. Serial: 9B655880; Part No: 9BT52GCAF Yesterday something happened and now the trolling motor stays on all the time at 100% power. I was using it during a normal low RPM run for only a few minutes and then it stopped working. I knew my batteries couldn't have suddenly died since they are both pretty new and were fully charged. I thought 'what the heck' and turned the variable speed dial on the side of the pedal, stepped on the pedals

    • Do you have a 14 - 15' aluminum boat with a bow mount electric?

Just wondering what shaft length you have as a bow mount on an 14-15' aluminum boat? I'm looking at buying a new one and there are so many different sizes. I looked at the online suggestions, but are those measurements with someone in the boat or it being empty? I'm asking because one of the motors I'm looking at only has a 42" shaft; I think it's too short though. Can I get everyone's opinion on the new Minn Kota electronic foot pedals. Are they giving people the same issues as the older models

    • Overnight trip with small kids?

Hi all. Need some advice. I've been a bass fisherman my whole life and the last time i've kept any fish was over ten years ago. This winter my 8 year old son has repeatedly asked me to take him fishing this summer and asked if we could stay overnight and cook the fish. These are his only requirements. I'm looking forward to it but i need some advice or suggestions with a boat rental, and a cottage\resort that's kid friendly. Anyone do a similar trip in recent years. I'm located in the GTA and wi
