PUMP KNOWS Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 Anyone know what it is? I'm a big fan of the Shadow Rap they released last year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nnyVQbDMRg
chris.brock Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 No, but I'll take 10 of them, hook line and sinker.
manitoubass2 Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) Its a stick bait that is designed to sink, then fowl, so it has retarded action on the retrieve??? Edited February 11, 2016 by manitoubass2
BillM Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 Did I just waste a minute of my life to not even see the lure? lol shoot me.
blaque Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 Did I just waste a minute of my life to not even see the lure? lol shoot me. I just wasted another minute to verify you were right........and you were, lmao
manitoubass2 Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 Priceless??? At least they showed a few 14" bass hahaha
jedimaster Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 I dunno, I saw a few fish with plastics in there mouths... snake oil... but pre order me a few.
Snowball Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 Found this on the internet. Regards, Snowball
PUMP KNOWS Posted February 11, 2016 Author Report Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) 15secs in this video he mentions jerkbait and they bleep out the name.... https://youtu.be/KxIfQJMwdgI Edited February 11, 2016 by PUMP KNOWS
misfish Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) I seen a bait down deep in there Edited February 11, 2016 by Brian B
wormdunker Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Lures are designed to catch fishermen! LOL! I'm living proof. U wanna see hordes of lures - come to my house!!
Old Ironmaker Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) And wait till 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and more sure fire tackle to come that will make 16 stuff obsolete. Keep buying you dopes. Once my hooks from my 1973 F10 Black and Silver Rapps rust off and the lips are broken and won't take anymore Guerilla Glue I'll buy new used ones at the swap meet in Hamilton. Or I will put the gleep on a few of my fishing buddies because they never use them an they have a JY Yamamatsu 4D 719 Jerk Hammer Dive Slash Power Scented Nuclear Bait that they paid 17 bucks for and they saw Izumi hammer them on TV Saturday morning. Believe it or not I don't have a Whacky Rig, yet. If the fish hit I'll stay with the 3 green garbage bags of plastic I have never used. Give me a Silver and Black F5 in Spring and a F10 Rappala in Summer and Fall and I'll show you a fish. Edited February 12, 2016 by Old Ironmaker
kickingfrog Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 I might be behind the curve but I thought I saw something about a taildancer with a "scatter rap" type lip/bill? Maybe that was last year's newest improvest lure.
Rod Caster Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 It can't be anything but live bait! I'll take a dozen
Old Ironmaker Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 It can't be anything but live bait! I'll take a dozen I'll even take dead bait. You fish hardware and I'll do whatever it takes to catch them that day. I'll have a fish fry and you enjoy the Fillet O Fish at the drive thru on your way home. But I will give you that you fished like a Pro on TV. Don't let the lights from the camera blind you.
Steve Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 I can guarantee you one thing. The bait will cost well over 10 dollars, likely closer to 20 dollars, will have fancy foil or other "real life" paint jobs..... then will be built with the cheapest split rings and cheapest hooks China will make....

Funny cause its true. I use a few rapala lures and immediatly change those out
Joeytier Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 These 'Pro' staff sales pitches are ridiculous. How can these guys spew the same Bull over and over again about whatever flavour of the week they get paid to hock?

How can these guys spew the same Bull over and over again about whatever flavour of the week they get paid to hock? When I was a sponsored skateboarder, i never promoted anything lol. But you got all this free stuff from skateboards to shoes to clothes. Well I already had all that so you sell it and make cash lol. Id suspect alot of pro anglers do the same Edited February 13, 2016 by manitoubass2
scuro2 Posted February 13, 2016 Report Posted February 13, 2016 I also wasted minute of my life and now I have negative interest in the product. On the integer line that would be a -10.
Garfisher Posted February 13, 2016 Report Posted February 13, 2016 My best guess is it's a new member to the "shadow" family, the Tackle Warehouse video with Ott Defoe has him say the bait name, but it's censored. However the 1st time he says it you can hear a "s" or "sh" pronounced before the beep comes in. It is a guess though haha
fishindevil Posted February 15, 2016 Report Posted February 15, 2016 If it's anything like the shadow rap it's awesome !!!! I did very well with the deep shadow rap last summer for bass and walleyes !!!! Bring it on rapala !!!????
wormdunker Posted February 15, 2016 Report Posted February 15, 2016 I had the pleasure of meeting an older fella at a lake west of Sudbury 2 years ago. The old gent had fished this lake for 50 years! He was 82 at the time. I went to have a look at his boat. He had 3 older fibreglass rods, paired with 3 Mitchell 300 reels. He also had the original floating rapala in black/gold & silver/black rigged up to each rod. You know what! He came in with 3 or 4 nice walleye every evening. I also used the original rapalas for many years as a teen ager. Today they are in my tackle bag when on the soft water. I'll remind you of my original post. "Lures are designed to catch fishermen"!!

Exactly WD. Thus I use 2 Rappalas, Silver and Black and Black and Silver. 2 Mepps, both Black Fury a #5 and another but the number has been chewed off. Edited February 15, 2016 by Old Ironmaker
manitoubass2 Posted February 15, 2016 Report Posted February 15, 2016 Im quite the minimalist for tackle too, found what works for me and thats what I stick with. That being said ya cant really bash rapala. 1) they are innovative and effective 2) you would be a very successful corperation making a few hardbaits for 100 years lol.
