When this came up last year on a news report, the “government” said the plates were guaranteed for five years (where was stated when we bought the plates) You are on the hook for new plates at full cost after five years. Ontario’s plates are an embarrassment! Here and outside the province. I spent many hours working on that Ontario logo only to be attached to garbage that we paid for and no responsibility by the firm that made them. Mine were about to go and I coated them with polyurethane, probably three coats it helped.

I paid for one of those meters and got a ticket! I paid it and copied it and wrote a nasty letter to the authorizes about the about looking more carefully at the paid tag!!! I've heard Buzz kill too. When we built out hut out of metal garage doors plywood roof and floor and it was heavy. How do two guys lift this at the end of the day. I put a short 4x4 in each corner with 1/2 inch hole in it. Got an old car jack and had a piece of rebar welded to the jack, insert in hole and jack it up. One person could do it.
