  1. Hooked, years ago I had the same problem and I kept telling them to clean up their act or i would call in bylaw inforcement. Well the proud owner came ove one day and said we should put a fnce between the two houses (with the prevvious neighbour here was no need for one, he carried a gun at work LOL) And my reply was when are you going to start? and then I started laughing when he asked for half of the funds to build it, YOU WANT IT, YOU BUILD IT, YOU PAY FOR IT end of story, I got a fence and he had to move, even better . . . :clapping:

  3. Last nigh went to open my garage door and it wouldn't go up. Upon close inspection found the main spring snapped in half. Has anyone ever had the same problem and what the costs were to replace it? We used to have a member who did garage doors is he still around? Thanks
  4. I still have a half dozen that I made many years back and still use them. If you are using live bait, after you send it down to the desired depth walk back about 20 feeet and plant it in the snow cover the hole and go have lunch, Seeing that stick flying across the ice is somehting and when it reaches the hole the hook is set by the fish. I have two roods and never used them at all.

  12. HH, I moved out of midtown TO in 1979 for the same reason growing family and house prices. Moved to Woodbridge in 1995, was the best move I made, everything is there, and close enough to TO to make it a pleasant cummute. I'm at Yonge and Eglinton. Three yeras ago I moved closer to Kleiburg even better; lots of open space. (Humber River Valley and Kortright Centre for Concervation) In five mintues and you are in the country, would never move back in. My kids just bought houses and one went to Newmarket and one to Brooklin, they never even thought of TO.

  15. Interesting occupations to say the least! I've been in the Typesetting /Advertising business since 1968. I've worked on major brands like Canadian Tire, Lexus (Canadain launch), Wal-Mart, Astra Pharmaseutical, Harvey's, MacDonalds, and many, many more. For the last 7+ years I've been doing travel magazines for Ontario Tourism including 'Fish Ontario' and 'Guide to Eating Ontario Sport Fish' and also the Bay. Question for ccmtcanada, Do you work at Yonge and Eglinton? My daughter is a Strategy & Advertising Integration, Specialist there. If you are there and look north at the building next to you I'm on the floor with the balcony facing Yonge Street. And I had friends at the Mr. and Mrs. Fix it agency and also have friends at your new agency!

Seems to have electrical problems with this car, power doors locks went and now the rear wiper. Also once in a while very rare occurence of the transmission won't shift into third, but if I stop, turn it off and start up again all is fine, any one elf have had this glich happen. But overall a great vehicle to drive.
