misfish Posted November 29 Report Posted November 29 Been a couple very busy weeks getting my new ice grubs done for the up coming ice season . Between all the river rat requests that keep coming in, I was able to finish the last lot of 7, and even did one batch of jigs . These are 7/32 tungsten beads ( tungsten is getting pretty expensive these days ) but I still manage to keep my prices fisher people friendly. Very pleased how they turned out . I have lots of misfit ones on the side lines, as I only produced the ones I was happy with . Nothing wrong with seconds, just not to my standards to please the end buyer . Anyhoo This is my end results . 8
Spiel Posted November 29 Report Posted November 29 Oh my, you definitely have a way with naming those amazing creations Brian. They all look like winners. 2
glen Posted November 30 Report Posted November 30 Look at the way the body has a two tone effect. It looks more natural than a solid colour. They all look great. I’d try the dead grub first. 1

misfish Posted Thursday at 10:48 PM Author Report Posted Thursday at 10:48 PM Thanks again I sold out in about a week and a half . It was intended to be a limited run,as I had a limited amount of supplies . I have since got a crazy amount of orders for more , so I have put in an order for more beads and materials . Will be about a week or so before I get my orders . I lucked out on this order as the next I will not be so lucky . . All stock that suppliers are bring in now, are priced with the new tariffs . The percentage increase is extremely stupid crazy . US and China are killing the affordable prices . Brass, tungsten and hooks . Here are a couple examples In September due to raw material increases they imposed 10% on Brass and 20% on tungsten. Our procurement cost for tungsten powder increased to US$110 per kilogram, last month was US$85/kg, in September was US$66/kg. The cost is increasing at a rapid pace! Additionally, our suppliers have indicated that tungsten powder prices may rise further to $150 per kilogram next month. Due to this ongoing price instability, we can no longer offer fixed pricing for tungsten products. We kindly request that you inquire about the latest quotation prior to placing any future orders, and we will always provide a price based on the current procurement cost. Daiichi who raised their prices 146% on 100 packs due to factory increases, Japan tariff's and eliminating my advantage of buying by the 1,000's (multiples of 10 x 100pc) to the same price as if I just bought one only pack of 100

Have you explored buying directly from the source country or a third party country like the UK ? Although, the US puts high tariffs on imported goods, Canada has dropped most of the reciprocal tariffs. If you can circumvent the goods going through the US, it should reduce your landed cost. Great looking jigs, and all the best with your enterprise. The Crappie jigs I bought from you have been killer ! 1 1
Big Cliff Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Well I have a beautiful selection that I bought from you last year and I kicked ass with them. I have never had anything that worked so well! My biggest problem is that I used to outfish most of my buddies until I started (loaning) them out, and I never got them back😊. Not only are they the most effective baits I have ever used, they are truly works of art. I really wish I had your talent.
