Freshtrax Posted May 29, 2017 Report Posted May 29, 2017 (edited) Late start to this season, the weather and mechanical issues on the boat held us back. Went down Friday for the shakedown run,out for 2 hours and got a beauty. Would have liked to catch this fish a few months from now. Headed back out sat am tough bite but went 4/4 2 salmon 2 rainbows . Bring on summer ! Edited May 29, 2017 by Freshtrax

Freshtrax Posted May 30, 2017 Author Report Posted May 30, 2017 Red in particular? Or dipsies in general? We catch more than 50 percent of our fish on dipsies.
Sterling Posted May 30, 2017 Report Posted May 30, 2017 Red in particular? Or dipsies in general? We catch more than 50 percent of our fish on dipsies. Yeah, dipsies in general. I tend to run them when the water's too rough to mess with riggers.
Freshtrax Posted May 30, 2017 Author Report Posted May 30, 2017 I always have a dipsie in the water with a paddle and fly. On sat fish wouldn't touch the riggers dipsies took all 4 fish. Usually run them on a 2 setting with 150- 250 ft of line out
BillM Posted May 30, 2017 Report Posted May 30, 2017 Same here.. 2 dipsies with SD/flies, 2 riggers with spoons + cheaters.
