muskymatt Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 Went from 94.9 to 114.9 overnight in Ottawa. Brutal
GBW Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 I just went and topped up at $106.9 at my CTC as I have a lot of KM to put on the Ram this weekend... Thanks for the head up!
smitty55 Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 (edited) Greedy buggers. I don't see any logical reason for a hike of this much. Strictly greed and the government allows it as it increases their tax revenues Cheers Edited April 11, 2017 by smitty55
Dara Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 I think its just an increase in carbon tax...no worries...we get it back in environmental protection
fishindevil Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 Carbon tax Bull !!!! Get used to it going to get a lot worse too ......
Old Ironmaker Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 We will pay any increase, and they know it. It was 98.9 last week in Cayuga and yesterday it was 1.08. Another 10 cents, we'll pay it. We live in the land of 4X4's here. Every home has at least 1 in the laneway.
GBW Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 Lindsay Esso now $113.9 and Port Perry (Simcoe and 7A) $119.9
misfish Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 3.6 pentastar, 8 speed tranny, and a float boat that uses no gas. Im still ahead of the game. I have also found that buying at Costco, adds to my savings.
Locnar Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 It's been around 111.6 - 114.6 for the last two weeks around here... Really disappointing if it rises another 6 cents. Any ideas as to why the frig it's going up again? Another installation of carbon taxes??
GBW Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 My buddy from Esso telling me the rates today said "buddy whos gotta restaurant buys 24 heads of lettuce for 39 bucks and now they are 128.00" and "chicken prices are going up too apparently it has all to do that some agrrement with us"

I've noticed Whitby and Port Perry being a bit more (not too much but enough when filling a truck it sucks) on my last few kids weekend than it is here. Peterborough on the other hand most times is less than here by a few cents too
