SirCranksalot Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 I'm not big on elebs either, but I hear Bobby Orr is a pretty good fisherman and he's just got a book out so that should be quite enjoyable. George Dubya?? what a nightmare that would be. Probably get a better response from talking to your outboard!
danc Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 I'd have to say Paul McCartney. Always been a big fan. Besides him, Stompin' Tom would have been high on my list as well. I don't know why I picked two musicians. I like music but there's lots of things that I enjoy more. Oh well. I guess that they've left a big impression on me.
GBW Posted January 1, 2014 Author Report Posted January 1, 2014 I don't think that was Lew showing a smile. It's like a baby with gas but you think it's a smile... Sorry, I just had to Lew...
Fish Farmer Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 Not big on celebs, my enjoyment is the look on a kids face catching his first fish, that kid is my celeb
OhioFisherman Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 For those of you that don"t think Lew ever smiles We can arraign that if you would like LOL Phil, I appreciate the thought, but any place that rocks is rocking too much for me!
Pigeontroller Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 I think Lew has gas in that pic, no way he's smilin!
fishing n autograph Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 If the wife sees this.... Babe Ruth If she doesn't Jessica Beil
Christopheraaron Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 Tough one, I think it would be Steven Wright, Louis Black, George Carlin (if he was still around), Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Steve Martin, or Richard Dawkins. And of course anyone on this board.
Roy Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 Tough one, I think it would be Steven Wright, Louis Black, George Carlin (if he was still around), Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Steve Martin, or Richard Dawkins. And of course anyone on this board. That's a good selection of people, Christopher. It tells me that you're more cerebral than most and at your age, that's saying a lot.

shane Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 Matt Groening. I want to tell him to quit following me around and stealing my ideas.
Joeytier Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 Stewart and Carlin are great picks, I'd add Bill Hicks as well. But John Ratzenberger's gotta top the list...not even sure if he's still around??
manitoubass2 Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) Al Lindner....didnt fish with him but my son me and my dad met him at a tackle shop when both of us were gassing up. My son was about 7 at the time. He took time to talk to my boy the gave him a full box of clackin raps!!! Hes a real class act in my books, super nice guy Edited January 2, 2014 by manitoubass2
Acountdeleted Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 What---such a long list and Rob Ford still didn't make it?? Almost met him a few years ago when I worked for the city but the day he was supposed to come out it was 50+ with the humidity. I think he would have melted.
Grimace Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) Tough one, I think it would be Steven Wright, Louis Black, George Carlin (if he was still around), Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Steve Martin, or Richard Dawkins. And of course anyone on this board. I like the cut of your jib. I would like to add Christopher Hitchens Edited January 5, 2014 by Grimace
Grimace Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 My pick would be Ted Nugent. You mean the chicken hawk war mongering draft dodger? I would use him as an anchor. Has he ever hunted in a place where the animals were not fenced in?
kuhaman Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 You mean the chicken hawk war mongering draft dodger? I would use him as an anchor. Has he ever hunted in a place where the animals were not fenced in? Sorry for rattling your cage Grimace,a question was asked and that is my answer. Don't like it , too bad!
BillM Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Sofia Vergara, I doubt I'd get much fishing done
bigugli Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) . Has he ever hunted in a place where the animals were not fenced in? Actually, he used to come up to the Muskokas on occasion in the spring for walleye opener a few decades back. Definitely a different sort of character. Kind of a media pioneer for the Robertsons Edited January 5, 2014 by bigugli
brw Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 No question Neil Young. Others would include Al Lindner and I'd include Solopaddler on the list as well!!
