Joey Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 Roy was having a hard time with Photobucket so I hosted the pictures of the snow for him that he took from Quebec today. Now that's alot of snow!!!!!
Terry Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 now that is what winter used to be like.....wow that's a lot of snow
aplumma Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 Wow no wonder we only got 3 inches here it seems it all fell up North on the way down. Art
Roy Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 Thanks Joey. Yeah, I'm powering up Bertha in a bit. That hump on the back deck is not a piece of furniture....it's snow and wind.
moxie Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 Looks like a Good Ole' Fashion Dusting. Bring a roll of trail tape with ya if you leave the house.
DRIFTER_016 Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 I'd be out ripping around town on my sled!!! :good:
fishindevil Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 Wow !!! That's a good old fashioned winter snowstorm !!!! I wish we had that here !!!! We only got 6 inches I guess here in bobcaygeon !!! But the sled trails are starting to open up Roy I would be tearing up and around with my sled in all that powder !!!! Your snowblower is gonna need another tank of gas !!!! Don't hurt yourself ....
mercman Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 My Pomeranian stepped off the deck and disappeared:w00t: Thank god my Lab is a trained Pom Rescue dog. She went in after her, and made a trail back to the stairs.
Beans Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 Yep...4 to 6 inches just east of Bobcaygeon...My neighbor across the street plowed out the end of our driveway...Thank God for good neighbors...Maribeth will have to make him some of her world-famous chocolate chip cookies... I have to go get my bandages removed, stitches out and my new pacemaker regulated tomorrow afternoon... Even afterwards I'm not to lift my left arm above my shoulder and no heavy lifting or work for another 6 to 8 weeks... I should get my driving privileges back tomorrow then I will drive the truck back and forth over the driveway to pack the snow down to save throwing up gravel with the snowblower...
Joey Posted December 28, 2012 Author Report Posted December 28, 2012 Jeez Norm, hope all is well. Sounds like you've had a few rough weeks. Please take care, I'll be thinking of you!!!
Fisherman Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 My oldest came back through there yesterday, Saguenay to Barrie, 16 hours that normally takes him about 9. Far to many dingbat drivers that think they're Villeneuve and probably over a 100 in the ditches.
John Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 Needed to put the electric start on Bertha yesterday and shock her back to life!
Skipper D Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 (edited) Guy's you've got to get your selves a ride on ........ Edited December 28, 2012 by Skipper " D "
Roy Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 It's all clean now. Finished the last bits this morning. Finished 'til the next snowfall but after this one, anything under 12" is not even worth cleaning.
Skipper D Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 Spoken like a true sno guy now Roy ........ lol .
tb4me Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 LOL its a good thing that didnt happen in Toronto...
craigdritchie Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 And in other news ...... it was another gorgeous day in the Bahamas. You know, where you don't need a post hole auger in order to fish.
Mike Pike Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 And to think aI was complaining 'bout the snow that fell yesterday here in Hamilton. I feel shame...
