vinnimon Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 I personally loved the big coasters in my younger years, crystall beach was my favorite, then they shut their doors. Then came canadas wonderland . Now we have this on the once tallest building in the world. I dreeded looking over the balcony way back when, and do miss the thrill now. I am conteplating wether to do it or not. Its not a fast thrill seeking attraction, but im sure most will soil their pants doing it. Would you do it? Im partial right know or just thinking about it.
irishfield Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 Jen can't wait to be a little more mobile !!!
danbouck Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 Not on my life. I've never even been up there. First scared of heights and now elevators
Terry Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 I would do it depending on the price and if I had more then just that as a reason to wander down to the big smoke
vinnimon Posted August 10, 2011 Author Report Posted August 10, 2011 Not on my life. I've never even been up there. First scared of heights and now elevators Then if I decide to do it, you can watch. I can see it know, Dans out the door on the sixth floor
vinnimon Posted August 10, 2011 Author Report Posted August 10, 2011 Jen can't wait to be a little more mobile !!! That would be a very good initiative on her part for other to see.Kudos to her, if she does
vinnimon Posted August 10, 2011 Author Report Posted August 10, 2011 got shrinkage just looking at the pic Oh Paul, shes not that ugly I would date her for the thrill of it
fishing n autograph Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 No thanks.....not interested in that..if I wanted danger I'd eat my brother's bbq!
Dave Bailey Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 As I believe I've mentioned on this board before, I have flown powered aircraft, gliders, hang-gliders, and parachutes. Loved it all, no fear. But get me two steps up a ladder and I get the shakes so bad I would even spill a beer, which for me is a mortal sin. I might try that CN Tower thingy, but there would have to be someone to push me and/or pull me around it, just in case. Oh, and Kleenex, for the tears.
adolson Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 I'd need to lose over half my current body weight before I even entertained the thought.
John Bacon Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 I would do it; but I wouldn't pay $175 to do it. I have always thought they should build a roller coaster that starts from the top of the CN Tower... now that would be a ride.
lookinforwalleye Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 I believe it's $175 Terry. 175!!!
Dara Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 No biggy...think about the crew of ironworkers that put the tower on top, and the crew that built the platform.
DT10Sam Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 Not for me and there would not be enough toilet paper to clean up the mess.
DRIFTER_016 Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 I believe it's $175 Terry. For a hundred and seventy five bucks I'd rather get a cheap hooker and a nice bottle of Tequila!!!
irishfield Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 I think you have that backwards Dave...
spinnerbaitking Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 Not for me and there would not be enough toilet paper to clean up the mess. X2 SBK lol
cranks bait Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 $175 to just stand on the edge???? No way would I do that. I am scared to death of heights, yet I always push the linits. Heck I have looked down 12000 foot shear cliffs with no safety rope when I lived out west. I would't even pay that price to rappel off the tower, although it would be fun
Joeytier Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 Way overpriced, but I'm sure they'll make a killing off of it for many years to come. I'd love to try it.
