Would you consider doing this

Recommended Posts

I personally loved the big coasters in my younger years, crystall beach was my favorite, then they shut their doors. Then came canadas wonderlandthumbsup_anim.gif .

Now we have this on the once tallest building in the world. I dreeded looking over the balcony way back when, and do miss the thrill now. I am conteplating wether to do it or not. Its not a fast thrill seeking attraction, but im sure most will soil their pants doing it.whistling.gif

Would you do it? Im partial right know or just tease.gif thinking about it.

As I believe I've mentioned on this board before, I have flown powered aircraft, gliders, hang-gliders, and parachutes. Loved it all, no fear.

But get me two steps up a ladder and I get the shakes so bad I would even spill a beer, which for me is a mortal sin. I might try that CN Tower thingy, but there would have to be someone to push me and/or pull me around it, just in case. Oh, and Kleenex, for the tears.

I'd need to lose over half my current body weight before I even entertained the thought.

I would do it; but I wouldn't pay $175 to do it.

I have always thought they should build a roller coaster that starts from the top of the CN Tower... now that would be a ride.

No biggy...think about the crew of ironworkers that put the tower on top, and the crew that built the platform.

$175 to just stand on the edge???? No way would I do that. I am scared to death of heights, yet I always push the linits. Heck I have looked down 12000 foot shear cliffs with no safety rope when I lived out west. I would't even pay that price to rappel off the tower, although it would be fun :thumbsup_anim:

    • Should I consider the french river?

Hello there, just got back last week from my yearly Canadian trip with my father. We have been going to a location that has good smallmouth fishing but mediocre walleye fishing unless you are able to get into back lakes which we are not able to with my setup. I have an old 17 foot aluminum boat with a 9.9 that goes 15 mph with two people and our gear. It has been remodeled and is a much nicer than what you can rent most places so I bring my own boat. Where we currently go we end up moving around

    • What would you do?

There has been a boat fishing in front of the houses in our little bay (dredged channel) with the same three guys for the last 4 or more days. They are there for 10-12 hours every day.  The neighbour said he saw them keeping all the bass they were catching (i haven't seen this). Not sure I want to approach them personally, but would the Ministry come out to check on them if they received a call?

    • Moving North? Things to consider

Hey guys,  As most of you would know, I am a city dude, own a condo in Toronto and cottage in Pointe Au Baril most weekends at my parents place. A recent change at my work has resulted in me now working remotely and at home which subsequently allows me to spend far more time at the lake. Ive begun to realize that the only reason I still live in Toronto is because 1. my girlfriend works here (she lives in her own condo) and 2. I play hockey here. As the months pass I am starting to

    • Would You Stop Hunting If -

If CWD was found in a deer close to the area where you hunt would you continue to hunt - this is a question that will some day surely come up around where I live - https://www.foxnews.com/health/chronic-wasting-disease-spreads-in-wisconsin-should-humans-be-concerned -     The problem is that a deer could be infected and not show any signs of it for a couple months - just another thing to worry about
