Don't laugh, I used to be a dispatcher, had a woman call me on another admin line to ask what the number is for 911, (she said nine-eleven) there's no # eleven on the keypad. Hope she doesn't spawn any kids.
What Roy said, mines galvanized, 1996 and no rust. And the strap type winch doesn't stab you and make you say bad things when someones kids are watching you crank up the boat. It's an Remeq trailer, same ones Princecraft uses.
Anything you buy today is "obsolete" tomorrow, I picked up a Lowrance Elite 5 HDI a couple years ago on a killer deal and am quite happy with it. They send out updates which improves the system, easy to install.
I don't have that particular model, mines a Jensen JHD1910. it's a marine unit and I put radio and speakers in a mid size ammo can, no dash on my boat it's a tiller. If I'm alone I have some tunes and also tune in the weather channels on it.

Of all things, check how far the zipper goes down, when your in need of a raging whizz and the zipper only goes so far, you might have to do some wicked contortions to get out your Johnson.
Never heard of putting the tank in water but it makes sense, waters 0C, it was -37C here so that's a whole lot warmer. In Manitoba I used to put the tank in the truck on the floor heat otherwise, nada.
