Wayne, let us know what it is/was. Not knowing what year Mo's car is, there are a couple other things, that could come into play. Usually injector pumps on those don't go from one second to the next, they go bad slowly, fuel mileage going down, lower power, etc.

Yor're right on that one, the newer ones have an EGR valve that can really get plugged and cause greeat havoc.

Okay, at 320K I can see an injector pump, just that I've seen some folks get hosed when not properly diagnosed, I almost had that happen, when the diesel mech showed up and said to the other mech, did you check the 50 amp fuze on the firewall for the glowplugs, 50cent piece almost cost me $700. New fuze $.50, put the old pump back in and ran from 1979 to 1990.

I'll take a stab at it, my understanding, some rivers are open upstream a certain distance, and it will be noted in the regs by something like, "upstream to the railway bridge" (usually close to the shore) or a noted natural feature such as waterfalls, and someimes it's marked by a post with signs. If none of the above apply, then draw a natural line across the mouth of the river that intersects the land on each side. Some small bays are considered part of the shoreline where as other's may be specific.

Take your screw along with the rubber "O" ring to your local Car Quest or other auto parts store(maybe NAPA), they should be able to match up the part.

Number one: Amen Lew, extremely well said, Number two: Not picking on anyone, however the next time anyone is doing breakneck speed by recklessly rushing to the scene, think of how many other people they have put at risk trying to save another. Imagine hitting someone at more than one and a half times the speed limit, or "T" boning someone, taking out a couple of other people and destroying someone elses family. Like Lew said, "pay the fine and get on with it" Or maybe you want some graphic details of the last one I got to first, simply because of speed.

I must say I have to thank my father (gone for a long time already) for buying his Ariens 7hp/24", in the winter of 1969/70, it's still running like day one. Excellent machine, parts are still available if needed. It's had 2 mufflers, 3 belts and one friction drive wheel in 36/37 years, can't complain. Change oil, pump up tires, add gas and blow snow. If I had to choose another model it would be either a Bolens or Toro. In my opinion, the rest like Murray, Yard work, you'd better have a snow shovel on standby.
