  1. Until the the facts come to light, it's all speculation.
  2. I'd give it a couple days and see what their story is, maybe it's time to leave them and carry on down lifes path. There are other friends to be made.
  3. She'll think I'm trying t get rid of her.
  4. I tried once to give my frenchie a shovelle and then the fight started. What NPT1 said, spa certificates are golden.
  5. For the past year to date, $875, a high of $149 in March and a low of $30 in September or roughly $72 if I did equal billing.
  6. 1000sq/ft upstairs and basement. Added 3/4" styrofoam insulation before recladding with vinyl. Attic got another 8-10 inches of blown in insulation. High efficiency furnace, hot water, gas dryer and 440 sq/ft detached garage all on NG. BBQ is NG but that doesn't take much. Just about all bulbs in the house are LED. Counter top stove is 1/2 induction 1/2 radiant although we rarely ever use the radiant side. I think the biggest saving was switching the dryer to gas, the electric bill dropped by about 30%. I would have to say last winter being by far the coldest I can ever remember in the houe, hydro jumped to about $120 for 2 months, but the furnace was really running and I had the truck plugged in a lot.
  7. Last electric bill, $68 and we aren't burning candles
  8. As long as it stays up there, I don't have to shovel..
  9. Hey, I have to rebuild the auger mount on top of my ice box on the ATV. Little bit of head scratching..
  10. Love to see parents with their kids outdoors, much better than thumb duels on the ipad thingy
  11. Yes a spare set of batteries makes the fun last longer, spare blades, yes unless you can buy them next door.
  12. Not so much accumulation last night coming back from Collingwood, but 3-4 inches of heavy slush will suck even the heaviest of pickups toward the ditch. Quite the ride to say the least.
  13. And when you're flying upside down, don't forget to push instead of pull, otherwise you'll meet terra firma at a high rate of speed.
  14. Not knowing how long you ran the motor in this condition, I would opt for new bearings. Also take a good look at the gears, if the assembly has been pushed outward to the rear, those gears may have some "extra" and not wanted wear on them. You may want to drop the whole lower unit and also inspect from the top side to ensure the drive shaft bearing is still in the same spot. Just trying to help.
  15. That would be like trying to swing a left handed golf club with a right hand, I think I'd be spinning around like a top..
  16. I have reserved thoughts about it breaking that while in reverse. More than idle while shifting maybe or something not put back together correctly if they did the rear seal earlier.
  17. I think my fear is that my left shoulder is not going to take any more recoil starting, that's why I went this route. Other than that, the weight factor it's a bunch lighter.
  18. Well, I can always stir some margaritas or paint..
  19. $549 for the 8" one. I figure if I have to buy a big drill, the chummy to hold the drill and auger together plus the auger part, it will be about the same or more than the Lithium Ion.
  20. Anyone looking for Lithium ion Augers, CTC has them on sale this week, pretty much sold out already, but they'll give you a rain check. They're $150 off. Besides, my shoulder and back don't like the recoil starting anymore and I sold my 1992 Jiffy 30 for more than what I bought it for brand new. $181 in West Baraboo Wisconsin.
  21. There I got up this morning expecting a new white blanket, what a letdown, I guess we now know who can go and apply for a job with Environment Canada.
