horrible defensive player, makes worse pinches then a minor atom defenseman on a regular basis. Honestly its like the guy has no hockey sense whatsoever. I've always felt this way, not just after games where his mistakes actually come back to haunt the team. An incredibly overrated player, simply because he can shoot the puck well.

great report and photos, too bad about the lack of fish. I admire your dedication, and I'm shocked the ferries run that early this time of year. I guess its for all those hippies living on the island who need to get to work (ya right!!)

Yes I do feel bad. Its been a couple of years since I've kept a fish for personal consumption. This summer I caught a real nice pickerel and figured I'd eat it. Kept it in the live well for a couple of hours but my conscience got the best of me and I eventually released it! It swam away strong...but if it hesitated I would have kept it. I have no problem with people who do chose to keep fish, it just isn't my thing.

I think JB's is about the only thing I miss after moving away from Toronto a year and a half ago. Will have to visit them at the spring fishing show where I will walk away with many more musky baits than I need.

I'm almost exclusively braided with fluoro leaders. Just love the sensitivity, hate the pocketbook effect. Braided I've got rods anywhere from 6-80 lb test and the fluoro leaders anywhere from 50-150lb

gators don't trouble me, its those dang barbels that will spool me/kill my time if you hook em to far from shore

I suck, hooked into a fish I just couldn't bring in, kept the line at breaking point and she still kept pulling line until time finally ran out

I heard that too about getting the extra 50 feet of cable...I didn't bother. Guess it depends what you're fishing for, but the deepest water I've fished is 35 feet so I've never had a problem. If you're in search of lakers etc then yes, get the extra cable
