  1. So let me get this straight: a) you dream about fish the fish you dream about are CARP???? My friend, you need serious help.
  2. Could it be more dramatic?? Would have been nice to cakewalk over the Wizards into round 2 but a victory over "Wince" would be just soooo much sweeter (although a loss would truly suck). I attended 2 Raps playoff games against Philly in round 2 a few years ago and the atmosphere was unbelievabld. Can't imagine how it will be with whiny #15 back in town...pandamonium I'm sure. Boo his sissy donkey all the way to the golf course.
  3. you guys are brilliant. I had been using big 2 dollar styrofoam coolers (other than for bulldawgs etc who like to eat styrofoam) and then replacing them every year. Last year changed to a deep tupperware bin. Really like the eavestrough angle for organizing things and adding surface area, gonna give that a shot.
  4. mine has been indoors at my sister's farm, so I'm not too worried about water. Its the 3 racoons and 11 possums having a jamboree in there I'm worried about
  5. pretty sure niagara parks marina had a sign last fall, so not sure where it went.
  6. haha thanks kuha, tried to think of an obscure player that nobody would have
  7. Sounds to me like you've got a keeper. My girlfriend fished all kinds. When said girlfriend became wife all fishing was a thing of the past, now she shops.
  8. Wish I could help you Bud but: A) I'm not familiar with that area When I catch a walleye its definitely an accident. They may taste good, but the fight is comparable to a wet dishrag. I would suggest speaking to the Lodge owner. When I went to Lakair, Kevin was very helpful with some areas to try. Ditto when I stayed at Waltonian. They want you to be happy and come back, so I'm sure the local tips would be your best bet. Here, you're bound to get the old "look for drop-offs" "fish in low light conditions" "slow down your presentation when the fish are inactive" "weed to rock transitions are dynamite" and other generic albeit true tips. When you get up there, they can get as specific as fish 100 feet west of the cottage with the green door and use a purple wiggler bounced off bottom! Then again, the most fun is going out there and hunting 'em down all on your own! Good luck and have fun.
  9. First off, congrats on the marriage/honeymoon. Can't help you on the brook trout thing, all I caught on my honeymoon was snapper. Secondly, if you plan on "jumping" a caribou on your honeymoon I would suggest protection
  10. isn't opeechee the name of the company that used to make hockey cards? Never heard of the lake, but if you've got a John Kordic rookie card I may be interested (was there ever a better goon may he rest in peace).

    finally

like the others have said...dang good pictures for a phone! Now I'm itchin to get my boat in the water, just need the lakes to thaw up here!
  12. "bugle-mouthed bass" too funny beans. Nice report Terry, good to get out on the soft water this early
  13. I must've missed something, didn't see where anyone said they kept these 5 inchers.
  14. I'd rather eat a spoonful of dirt...mind you that's my opinion on almost all fish. I eat fish approx. once every couple of years, just not a favorite of mine. Haven't even eaten the fish-fry after the lakair pike tournie!
  15. looks great! For a boat that size though, pretty small casting platform up front. That would cause problems for a guy like me who likes to have 9 rods around my feet and at least 10 big baits scattered around! Not to mention fishing with a buddy who wants to be up there too! When I bought my boat the size of the casting platform was #1 priority. I've only got a 14' boat but the platform must be 2-3 times the size of the one on that 17' boat. Basically, it comes down to priorites. If casting room at the bow is not a big deal, then it looks like you've found a nice boat!
  16. Man that guy is a nob. Can't stand the way he drags fish back and forth trying to make it look like they are fighting hard. He practically drowns his catch pulling it all over the place
  17. yup,l saw the exact same thing there 2 or 3 summers ago. Tried to tell the guy it was a musky that he was keeping but he swore up and down he had a pike (he was wrong). Was about a 38 inch fish, so too small to be a legal keeper.
  18. that would be amazing to see
  19. I am a LONG SUFFERING fan. Finally some success again. Nice to see Miama choking the last few games as well. A date with the Wizards, or even better, Wince and the Nets would be fine with me
  20. "beauty sucker, them's good eatin" quote from guy living in that lean-too about to burn old tire.
  21. I practice my smooching with them
  22. I don't have the luxury to choose which days I can fish (usually only once every month) so i just go when I can. Deal with the conditions of the day
  23. tiger musky in some pretty shallow, clear water. Great video
  24. what a shame...he'll be back.
  25. I thought that deal had fallen through, guess I have to pay more attention. Luckily I have the smell of the landfill nearby to mask the smell of the plant!
