I hope to musky fish until Dec. 15, and by then the small lakes up near parry sound are frozen

mine stay indoors. I generally end up replacing the line in the fall when I have a wicked case of backlash from trying to cast with frozen hands!

I got skunked in 2 days last week-end on the upper. I had planned on going back this week-end, but when I saw the forecast of big winds on Thurs and Friday I cancelled. Gonna stay in my nice warm bed instead. Not sure if the winds ever materialized, but I'm staying put.

That is a ridiculous fish. As far as sturgeon out this way, I spotted one on my aquaview in the upper niagara last year. Was maybe a 40 inch fish

I've never fished the lower, but I've already called off my plans to hit the upper this week-end. With the wind that is expected the river will be brown above the falls, wouldn't expect much better below.

welcome Jed, good time to be joining as we all try to figure out the new board. Personally I haven't figured out a dang thing yet other than "fast reply". Gonna take my time figuring it out just in case we change again!

does it really matter? Not like # of posts will catch you more fish. Gives you incentive to provide lots of reports if you're looking to increase your #'s
