  1. Yup, you are reading it right.
  2. Simcoe is frozen over. Zone 20 (lake Ontario) is open water. S.
  3. I've had PT wood in my aluminum boat for 10yrs now. No problem. No sealer, nothing. The wood is on PAINTED aluminum though......maybe that makes a difference, but either way, no issues whatsoever. S.
  4. Not bad at all. I'm between 1 and 2 mins a fish, but thats for perch. Crappies I do a bit quicker. That's all fish cleaned, packaged, and station totally cleaned up, with fish in the freezer. If I were to go head to head on one fish, It would be pretty quick. P.S...don't forget to leave a tag of skin on them. S.
  5. I thought the trailer attached to the vehicle had to be a fifth wheel hitch to tow 2 trailers, no? S.
  6. Nice. What weight are they? I like the bullet heads myself, they seem to rip thru the weeds cleaner and easier. S.
  7. Lake simcoe is still covered in 2 ft of ice.
  8. I'd keep going straight to the kawartha's myself. I've fished stoco fair bit, moira too, caught muskies in both, but had to work for them, and nothing real big. Just my opinion. S.
  9. I hate popcorn cielings and drywall.....just go right over it with wood or whatever you like
  10. Rye. Lots of rye. And a guitar. Good to go! Nipigon is at the top of my list. I'm hoping to get there this year, but its not looking great. Next year for sure. S.
  11. Anyone who thinks that is going to actually happen is just way too paranoid to have guns to start with. S.
  12. This guys stuff is rediculous. I've played guitar for 30 yrs and still never go past the 5th fret LOL S.
  13. Some birds of prey will do this as well.
  14. Its rediculous how our government works in this province. The whole issue was no enforcement, no man power to enforce, and no money in the budget to provide the manpower. So, what do they do, hire a separate company, at probably twice what it would cost them to do it themselves, to do the enforcement. Brutal. S.
  15. The one I have is a tite lok transducer mount like this one I think. I forgot to dig it out last night. It might be a little different than the one in the link, but it works, and the price is right. http://www.titelok.com/product-p/trd-5798.htm If your ever in the kawartha's, its yours. S.
  16. I wonder how many they will get? This country is messed up. S.
  17. I have one I could sell you for cheap. I forget the brand, but it works great. I can get a photo later on if you Pm me your cell number. I am in the peterborough area. Its a clamp on set up that will work for any boat. Its made by a rod holder company, but the name escapes me at the moment. S.
  18. You just have to learn to use the wind and not fight it. I don't mind windy days. Its kind of like a challenge. I like a challenge. There is always somewhere you can get out of the wind. Plan your work, work your plan. S.
  19. I do the exact same thing at my place. Also a split level with a woodstove in the basement. My furnace rarely kicks in if the fire is going.
  20. Its pure ignorance. They need an eye opener. S.
  21. Does this mean my fish bum shirts are worth more now? S.
  22. I want this so bad, but the timing is so wrong right now!!!! If you can wait a bit I will take it though. I am still using the last minnkota you sold me LOL......still works perfect too. S.
  23. Wow...that walleye is a beaut!! Congrats! S.
  24. That parking job may have wrecked my day, and his/hers. What a tool! I'm pretty sure my tow strap would have been wrapped around the hitch of that thing, and I woulda yanked the back end around until I could get by. That's ignorance at its finest, and I am sooooo sick of ignorance lately. S.
  25. That sucks. Hopefully they never find it again and your insurance doesn't screw you over too bad. S.
