Thats a great contact to have. I can't seem to find one lol. S.

I got a load of logs for $860 delivered. 90% red oak. Almost 7 cords. The mess in the yard sucks, but thats my wifes job lol. The neatly stacked firewood is a thing of beauty. I also scored about 3 cords of maple for $300. I had to go pick it up, but still a great deal. I have a chute in my garage that goes to a wood room in my basement, so filling the wood room is pretty easy. Once its inside there isn't a lot of mess. S.

Rat Trap, and wire it down to something. These guys can be a real problem. I have had a few encounters with them. Never in my house though....sheesh....I wouldn't sleep until I got it. I hope its a small live trap and you take it for a swim once you catch it!! S.

Ha.....thats only because Wayne's FORD could never handle a load like that!! My RAM would laugh at it! LOL S.

I love my woodstove, love the wood heat, but my back is starting to hate it. I've cut/split and stacked 7 cords so far this year. I kinda like it, and try not to kill myself doing it, but it is a lot of work. The stove burns 24/7 here unless we aren't home. S.

Fishing From The Causeway in Bridgenorth Banned
Sinker replied to Dutch's topic in General Discussion
I hate this stuff. Its all laziness. The by law enforcement is too lazy to enforce littering, so now he/she will have time to enforce tresspassing? I doubt it. Such a shame people have to ruin a good thing, but I guess that's what it takes this day in age to get the point across. These litterbugs just don't get it. I dont understand how people can leave their garbage behind in the first place. What possesses a person to just leave their trash behind? My old man would slap me up side the head if I littered......no joke! S. -
I wear titans on the ice. s.

They are on a summer weekend, for sure, but not too bad in the off season. That will change though with the highway coming through. We already have a bunch of GTA'ers moved into my area that complain about gun shots, and the smell of manure. Drives me nuts. The locals like the sound of gunshots in the morning LOL..... S.

I have one just like that too. Still works. S.

$27G would pay someone to pick it up for a year. I know plenty of students who would be happy to work out side, and clean up after these slobs for that money. Banning use is the way things are done. The kawarthas are going to be infested with citiots now that the 407 is coming through, so its only going to get worse. Might be time for me to move further away again. S.

I have a powerdrive, and I want a terrova lol Terrova will do everything with the footpedal, or remote. S.

Could still be a mink getting the rabbits. I've seen them drag whole chickens out of a coop, over a 4 ft fence. 9 out of 15 of them.....just killed them and hardly ate any of them. I got him though, and haven't had a problem since. S.
-
Also, are you sure its mice in your vehicles and not this guy? They are terrors. I have had quite a few dealings with these little buggers!! I can almost guarantee this is what killed your rabbits. A mink will too though..... S.

Overnight winter camping. Any advice helpful.

Haha...come on, its not THAT bad LOL I would also suggest a sleigh to haul your gear. Leave the smitty at home, and just use a tub that will stay in one track. I wouldn't go without a sleigh of some sort, you will need more gear than you have listed. Don't forget an axe. S. -
I forgot to mention, the food was amazing too!

I spent a week with Pat Boyd at Lake of the woods lodge last year and would certainly go back. In fact, I plan to go back this year again. Great people, great place, and the fishing was great too. Scenery is out of this world. We targeted musky for the week and we all put good fish in the boat, my biggest was 48". My son got his PB at 45, and my buddy also got a PB on the same day. Not to mention a bunch of real good gators as well. If you are going at that time of year, I assume you are wanting walleye, and you can catch limits right off the dock. along with TONS of JUMBO perch. I can't wait to go back!! S.

That little guy will wipe out a hutch of rabbits in no time....or chickens. If there is one, there is more. They are sneaky little buggers. Set a rat trap, and wire it down. S.

Wow....have machine, will travel LOL Nice work dude. Those are beauties!! S.

Simcoe Perch Ice Fishing - Operator question
Sinker replied to gordy28's topic in General Discussion
Tim Hales will do that. He always checks on the huts at noon, so if you want to leave, you should be able to no problem. He also has his huts set up for kids safety, with covers for the large holes. Best perch operator on the lake IMO. S. -
That's so not fair.
-
If you get a place there make sure its big enough to keep me and a buddy when we hit lake st clair for ducks please S.

We have a Honda Pioneer 700. No issues really, but it sometimes doesn't want to shift out of low gear when its cold. Works good though, and goes anywhere. I would say away from Polaris, seen too many issues with them. S.

We will only hear one side of the story now, the tanker truck will never be heard now. I doubt it was his fault either way. There are so many idiots on the roads, its ridiculous. S.

Ok, lets see if this works for me from PC. I cant seem to get it to go from mobile. I would even consider posting a report from mobile.....we really need that!!!

That sounds very, very shady to me. S.
