  2. Maybe it's time to stop playing C&R with this resource. Nature paying the price for the amusement of humans.

  4. So I got out fishing with my lady and my boy on the weekend. We all got fish too! The MRS win's with a keeper walleye and the biggest at 23" that had to be let go. The one of my son sort of blurry was him on the hookset, lol

  8. Ohio was smart enough to realize the value of the sport fishery and banish the commercial industry. Guess where Ontario sends a majority of the commercial catch now!?.....yup, right across the border to our neighboring great lakes states. Stupid. Theres plenty of fish out there for everyone right now but if history holds true they'll continue to raise commercial quotas until its too late, the fishery will crash and we'll be waiting for a miracle spawn for the fishery to recover like it thankfully has the past couple seasons. The outlook right now is very, very promising but I have little faith in the management of the resource. Josh

  9. Angler with sport license 6 walleye in your possession. Commercial fisher with nets full on a daily routine, until quota is met and that's only if they're not doctoring their books. Sorry man; but who's doing the damage to the fishery? Dan.

  13. Admit it, if it wasn't for the money and bragging rights, I'm sure there wouldn't be as much interest. As much as fish in general may be on the low end of the proverbial totem pole, they are a food source for other species. I find it sad that man has to go around "just because" he can, wasting a resource. If they were required to keep what they catch with no culling and injuring fish, there's still 4,5 or 6 fish to tally up and enter. Then go eat them. Oh, for those who wonder, I'm not a P3TA freak, if I catch some, I eat them, unless they're out of the legal size.

  21. I dont think you have a clue what you are talking about it has great medical uses, is not addictive (for some it can be habit forming) and most heavy users that i know quit hard drugs and or booze and settled with pot as a milder alternative to heavy drugs not the other way around

  23. I know people in thier 60's, 70's and 80's who have been smoking weed their whole lives. All good, hard-working, productive members of society. Its the most harmless drug there is. More beneficial than harmful. And no, I'm not a pot head, chronic stoner at all. I have tried it many times, and enjoyed it socially, but I am by no means a regular user. I have, however, seen it do many good things for other people, and support its use. S.

  26. Who wants to keep and eat a wormy Smallmouth? I will eat smaller bass from Erie but not a 5 pound er here or from a small hot lake up north or a lake or river around here, especially during summer. Regs say if you kill a fish you can't waste it which means eat it to me.
