mcafee bogus site crash pop up

anyone else experiencing this? very frustrating, i was just writing a lengthy reply and it crashed the site again and threw up a pop up that said it was "scanning" lost all of the writing i had done.

Yeah me too, I thought it was just my computer. Same thing. It just happened three times now while trying to type this short reply.

I haven't had any issues here but I did have some suspicious emails recently from McAfeee that I deleted without opening. I would suggest running a scan with malwarebytes, there's a free version.

Are you using any script blockers? I use AdBlock Plus, uBlock origin and Privacy Badger which is the only one not disabled for this site and I never get ads or popups here.

We made a few ad adjustments, please let me know if this is still happeniong.

Been keeping an eye on it, I run Fire Fox with just the basic Microsoft antivirus,  nothing yet.
