Went 2-3 and I was off the ice by 10. Good thing as the wind here is getting nasty.

~~~~I 'm a thunken he uses the ice anchors to hold him in place
I know what I,ll be doing before next year. Adding those brass loop rings to the skirts. When theres no snow to back the flaps, that wind gets inside. Pick up some of the eskimo screw in anchors to keep the flaps down.
Brave man being out there today! Good job!
Thanks Bill. I was almost ready to pack it in before this cold snap came. Long rod was on stand by. :whistling:
I always get steps 5 and 6 wrong.
Beauty fish. Knew I should have paid more attention in Mr. B's class.
I've seen guys use small bags of sand to hold the skirt down. Kinda heavy to carry around, but they did work good. Kinda like bean bags.
Nice Brian... is the ice that thin that there's not enough slush from drilling 2 holes to put on top of the skirt?? :whistling:
I thought about that Wayne. Ice was fine. I even splashed water where the hut was sitting so it would kinda take hold when it froze.
