chris.brock Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 A New Years Resolution that took an extra week. Good on you for beating it, don't ever look back.
crappieperchhunter Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 From a guy who is watching his father fade away with COPD all I can say is well done!!! You have dodged a very very undesirable bullet.
ckewley Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Cant remember if its six or seven years for myself but ya never looked back
bigugli Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 16 years come this May, and I have not missed it for a moment.
16 Footer Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 A friend died a month ago from lung cancer after smoking for many years. He suffered greatly at the end. It is not worth it!
npt1 Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 My wife and I quit smoking When our first grandchild was born, we knew that it was time to stop. Grand daughter will be 20 in June.
SirCranksalot Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Congrats. I did it a few years back and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. For a while I bought stuff for myself from the $ I saved. If I'd kept account I'm sure it would easily pay for any expensive fishing eqpt that I've bought.
Pigeontroller Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Excellent. Dumbest thing I ever spent $$$ on...
Shloim Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Almost 3 years for me and I'll never go back

crappieperchhunter Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 i just quit for the first time and made it 4 months started again over the holidays, today is my first day smoke free again . My brother quit and started up again 3 times before he actually beat it. He hasn't smoked for nearly 25 years now. Keep at it. You will be glad you did.
leaf4 Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 My brother has quit and started 3 times, each time its going to the bars with friends who smoke that start up the habits again and he gives in over the evening then its back to the convenience store when he wakes up to scratch the itch
