NewHips Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 crankbait would be a #5 silver shad rap jig= would be 3-4in white twister-tail/pink jig-head

tender52 Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Chaetruse big o. That catch's every species
BassMan11 Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Heddon Zara Spook.... Nothing better then a top water bite.
mepps Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Easy choice for me, Mepps Black Fury #5 It has probably caught me over a dozen species big and small.
Thrilla Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 crankbait would be a #5 silver shad rap jig= would be 3-4in white twister-tail/pink jig-head I thought you could only pick one! I think you be cheating ! Lol
kickingfrog Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 I don't know why anyone would play such a cruel and unusual game as this but I'd go brown twistertail on a jig as well.
kickingfrog Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Heddon Zara Spook.... Nothing better then a top water bite. On top is best but it's tough to get one down the icehole though.
D.Sams Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 My own answer is very similar to that of Fishing Fury. I'd go with a Mepps Black Fury #3, with the yellow spots. It's been deadly for me over the years and produced a surprising amount of species as well.
lookinforwalleye Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) This is the best thread ever to get to know everyones "secret weapons" lol And it`s not the first time it`s been asked....oh and mine would be the Yumbrella...so good it`s been banned!!! Locnar Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 This... It's a shallow diver. It has caught me rainbows, browns, smallmouth, largemouth, crappies... Since I mostly fish from shore, shallow diving is usually key.
manitoubass2 Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Surprised nobody said white spinnerbait yet lol. On softwater thatll catch ya lots as well, just not on the hardwater. I picked mine based on any scenario, any season or species
Paudash Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 almost time to rebuild the tackle box
Acountdeleted Posted February 10, 2015 Author Report Posted February 10, 2015 I don't know why anyone would play such a cruel and unusual game as this but I'd go brown twistertail on a jig as well. Just wait until I challenge everyone to use their mentioned lure as their only artificial bait for one full year of fishing.
manitoubass2 Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Just wait until I challenge everyone to use their mentioned lure as their only artificial bait for one full year of fishing. That would be a fun thread! Post your pics of fish caught on the lure you chose in this thread!
S.M.05 Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Being a trout nut I would have to say the good old Little Cleo 1/4 or 1/3 oz. I have caught every trout that swims in my neck woods with it plus salmon, bass and pike. Works good under the ice as well.
grizzlybri Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Just wait until I challenge everyone to use their mentioned lure as their only artificial bait for one full year of fishing. So would you have to use it while ice fishing? That would be a fun thread! Post your pics of fish caught on the lure you chose in this thread! I'd be in, now I just have to figure out what is my go to lure
bow slayer Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 rapala J 7 or 9 in chartreuse or black/gold......caught everything on these
aplumma Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Stick of dynamite? Just kidding, jig with pearl thumper tail/twister tail. Why that is the lure of choice down in Louisiana. Since we are up North a little my choice is the wacky rigged senco with a jighead. Art
Big Cliff Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 $1000.00 bill. Might not catch me any fish but I'd sure have a lot of fun!
