lloyd Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Hi all, Just thinking about the hard water fishing season that is coming up soon, Are you heading back to your favorite lake or is it time for a change ?? I have never fished for Lake Trout, perhaps I should try Lake Temagami. Having a lake such as Lake Nipissing available is to my liking, never been skunked there. Where are you going and why???????????? Have a great day. Sarmoti,)))))))))))

This will also LIKELY be the time frame for every other lake North from Nippissings South shore when the new 2007 regs come out...unless the lake has been stocked in the last couple years.
nightbow Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Jan 1 kempenfelt bay ,with my boat because there will not be ice yet
fishdawg Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Ive got a trip booked for Nippissing in early Jan will also do a few day trips to Simcoe through-out the winter theres some local holes that i hope also get safe ice - i would love to do a trip north for speckies & splke , but we'll see if that happens
Jer Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 The last couple years we've been spending a weekend on Nosbonsing at Birch Hill Camp. Always a good time. Unfortunately, Henry and his family are taking a winter off...so we booked at Promised Land Camp on Nippissing (Jan 12-14) for our annual trip.
motv8tr Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 I'll be going to Simcoe at least once in Feb. Other than that, I might try up here in Midland and Penetang Bays, and may even make a trip or two to the west arm of Lake Nippising....time will tell, and so will the weather... Maureen
snoil Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Same umm er boat as you Jer.We usually go to Birch Hill and are also going to Promised Land the week before you.I'll let you know how we make out.
