Hit Bronte about 4 this afternoon, only spent a hour out there, marked lots of bait fish but no takers. Congrats on the great fishing.

Finely got out for some over due fishing, got to the lake around 1:30 fished until 4. Water was flat and the weather was awesome, running in 230ft of water down 40ft. Had 2 knock off the riggers and a Bow off the dipsy. Going 1/3 on the first real trip out wasn't to bad. Here is the bow for the BBQ.

Just listening to the VHF, tornado warning for Hamilton, be careful out there!!!!!!!!!!! Just started to rain in south Mississauga. Crap the lights just blinked, better shut the computer down....

If the bearing got that hot for it to weld it to the axle, you will most likely have to use a cutting torch, cut the race in 2 places then find the biggest hammer and a cold chisel, the 2 parts will come off with a little force. Sand down the axle with some emery paper and install your new bearings. Most important part is when cutting only cut the race do not cut into the axle.

Nice report, awesome fish. I was out Saturday marked some fish but that was about it. You are right about the day, it was fantastic out there. Heading out again this Saturday.

Only fished jumping caribou lake once and that was through the ice, 1 laker in 4 day stay, the rest was ling. The food is great at Ravencroft lodge. For your honeymoon the have a hot tub there.
