grt1 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 hammered brass #4 indiana with 4mm red beads on a 20# three foot leader. I've caught trout, walleye, perch, northerns and whitefish on this rig.
Roy Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 3 to 5 Aglia..... worm/bait harness is another thing. I make my own.
solopaddler Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 If I had to pick one it'd be a #2 or #3 E.G.B. spinner with a hammered copper blade.
BillM Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Small 1/16th or 1/32nd oz Panther Martin... I like the silver blade with black body....
dave524 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Small 1/16th or 1/32nd oz Panther Martin... I like the silver blade with black body.... That too, has been my favourite for small stream specks, often with a bit of orange in the feather dressing too along with the black.
BillM Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 That too, has been my favourite for small stream specks, often with a bit of orange in the feather dressing too along with the black. The reason why I like them so much is that it doesn't take much current, or a fast retrieve to get the blade going.. I love fan casting these things and letting them sit infront of log jams, etc...
laszlo Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 If just one it would have to be #3 Mepps Aglia Silver Blade with Hooks Dressed in Black.
johnnyb Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 I'd be happy to settle down with my Panther Martin #20 with gold blade and yellow/red-fleck body. Yeah, #20. I can toss it all spring for shallow lakers and big fat pike. And this coming summer we'll see how it does 30-40 feet down on the lead core...or possibly behind the dipsy
DRIFTER_016 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Mine would be a Blue Fox #2 or #3 in Silver or Gold.
Whitespinnerbait Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 #2 Mepps Black Fury.........
Paully Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Mine would be a Blue Fox #2 or #3 in Silver or Gold. Thats exactly what I was thinking...
Fishnwire Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Hard to go wrong with a #3 Mepps Black Fury. I like burning it in fast enough to bulge the wake a bit like a top-water.
vinnimon Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 3 to 5 Aglia..... worm/bait harness is another thing. I make my own.the#3 aglia would #2 for me
