Hey Art, much appreciation for your efforts in this thread. Not to be argumentative, but my wife and daughter were in New York this summer and told me of armed men (soldiers or police) in Times Square. I assume that the Square is one of those areas you mentioned in an earlier post. I heard a quote from a Canadian Soldier that has really stood out for me... If you think we have fought hard in foreign lands, you have no idea how hard we will fight to protect our home land. I deliberately stayed away from this thread until now as I didn't want my emotions to get the better part of me. The events of the last two days have changed the fabric of Canadian Society, and not for the better. HH

Cliff, the LCBO doesn't accept fritters as a form of payment. I remember working down town T.O. and standing at the corner of Yonge and Queen streets. There was a homeless guy who sat there pretty much every day. I watched a young lady hand the guy a styrofoam food container. He opened it to find a club house sandwich, with fries and slaw. I watched him throw it at her and curse at her. LCBO doesn't accept club house sandwiches either. HH

From a big picture perspective Simon, you are absolutely correct! Nip Pickereye stocks are only a symptom of a very complex issue. This recent announcement is a step in the right direction. Hopefully leadership of all concerned, look beyond the tip of their noses and develop sound practices that will allow everyone to enjoy the resource for many years to come. I don't understand why the guffuffal about jersey's thrown on the ice. It's not a flag of one's country, it's a jersey. One could argue that the Leafs have thrown all there fans under a bus for the 40 odd years... and is it not any ones right to do with what they please with their own possessions? I see no evidence that MLSE has killed off "Blue and White" disease. It appears as though they have tried to address some of the many symptoms, but not the disease itself. HH

Once you have decided on which camera interests you the most, I would scour the used market for folks "upgrading" their current camera. Places like Henry's and such, always have used camera bodies in stock. another option to consider is pawn shops. CL or Kijiji also offer opportunities to get more bang for your buck. HH
