Got stopped last week for 68km in a 50km zone..........fair 'nuf.........however when I handed my insurance slip to the police office he politely told me that it had expired and could he see a current one, told him I would look for it. Well it took me 5 mins or so to sort though all of the crap in the folder it is usually in, finally found it. When he came back to the car I presented it to him and he said "sorry, ticket has been issued, ($60), fight it in court".

Brought tears to my eyes............

Look, I took the liberty of examining that parrot when I got it home, and I discovered the only reason that it had been sitting on its perch in the first place was that it had been NAILED there............

I just shred it and compost it.......don't sweat the small stuff guys, you might live longer...

I too have Mustang Atlantic, but two piece and wish I had a one piece. You can always pull your arms out and let it hang around your waist. BTW if you go for a swim one or two piece ain't gonna make any difference to how cold you get, (assuming you are wearing the jacket of the two piece at the time)...

Lew, when selling on Kijiji, go by a well worn statement.......... "In God we trust, the rest pay cash"! No doubt that reply has "run" written all over it. Kijiji is a great place to sell stuff but it's still a little like the wild west as far as law and order.

Sorry to hear that Bruce, I'm sure that Peanut will be OK you will make sure of that. As for the Shepherd, well, I am not sure that all would agree with me but I don't blame the dog. In 90% of the cases of aggressive dogs, both to other dogs, other animals and humans, it is the "owner" that is at fault. I am of the belief that pets learn the personality of their owners who they consider to be their leader. Bruce, I would not let this die. I would make sure that at the very least they pay the vet bills. By the way Mike........anyone kicked my dog in the ribs and they would be waking up in hospital........unfortunately, I would possibly go to jail!

I have certain charities that I respect and support to a large extent over the course of a year. My choice, for varying reasons. I also participate in an annual food drive that donated over 100,000 pounds of non perishable food last month to local food banks and the Salvation Army. It is somewhat selfish on my part as I get a large amount of pleasure from it. So.......when I get bombarded at the liquor and grocery stores looking for donations for this cause and that and handouts for the local sports team i get a little frustrated having to run the gauntlet at the local mall or plaza. I would also encourage everyone to look into the charitable organization that you support and check out the net amount of every dollar that actually reaches the end of the chain and actually is used to fund the cause or research or buy the items needed or claimed to be needed, you may just get the shock of your life! But this is just my humble opinion.....
