I am a fan of longer rods just seem to fit my frame and casting and retrieving methods better, I'm a fairly tall guy. Having said that I have managed to turn a couple of 7' 6" rods into 6' 10" 'ers recently, it's quite easy when you have too many rods in the boat at one time!......

The laws in Ontario state that no one on board can drink alcohol while under way. Once the "houseboat" is moored, it becomes a house. Having said that all drinking and driving or boating laws are still in effect. The only thing I would bear in mind is that they are a bit like trying to steer a barn door in a cross wind!

It's the how it does it I guess. Also every time I talk to someone who has an iPhone they always brag about how they have access to 200,000 + apps! Can play zillions of games with awesome graphics.......... Who cares if you up to your chin in crap and just need a reliable communication tool that types like your laptop and gives you e-mail access, ability to BBM with other Blackberry users and a pretty good camera that let's you take photo's of what you are trying to communicate. Oh and by the way, it's a phone as well...... I am in no way anti-Apple. I worked for Apple for a number of years and was a disciple!

Sorry, I agree with Jedimaster...........iPhone is fine if you want to play all day but if you want to actually communicate with business partners, customers and suppliers on an ongoing basis Blackberry in MHO is still the way to go with an actual qwerty keyboard. Seems like sex still sells and sways people away from what they really need as a business tool! I honestly think that these things go in cycles, iPhone will cool off in the next 6 months or so and unless RIM really blows it on the new models/technology they will once again become the business phone of choice.

I second or third the motion! fishman2202, if you want a sexy phone at 16 years old get a job nights or weekends to pay for it. I would provide my kids with a cell phone with a fixed amount of minutes to call home or friends if need be............other than that............well, life's tough all over.....

Haven't fished it this year but it is mainly bass and lake trout water. There are some pike in Oxtongue river and Dwight Bay but few and far between in LOB's itself. Concentrate on the smallies in the typical summer spots.

Burt, I would go with the shrimp or live bait every day of the week. Try beaches and rocky areas. Try taking a few pairs of surgical gloves to wear.
