  1. I personally like my steering a tad heavier. I have NFB system on my Princecraft and as Dave says once trimmed properly it gets much lighter.
  2. Sorry to hear that Darren. It's always tough to let go.
  3. Just the lips and asses Roy.
  4. Of the hundred or so times I have crossed the border in the past 5 years, all of the agents on both sides, coming and going, have been professional and polite. Some like to ask ambiguous questions to see if they can get you frazzled, but by and large I have been treated well by a group of guys and gals who have a tough job to do and get little respect from those who travel back and forth for business and/or pleasure.
  5. Have a great one Paul!
  6. Awesome Simon, as I said in my PM, you are definitely a non-smoker and that's amazing. Stay with it and you and your family will never regret it. If you ever feel like you need some more encouragement just PM and I would be happy to chat there or on the phone. J...
  7. I think I'm gonna drink heavily before I sign on for the next month or two!
  8. Kelvin, rant away my friend. If you are ever in need of an ear or just someone to have a beer, just let me know...
  9. From what I have read and have seen I think those that expect Sail to be a Bass Pro or even Gagnon's will be disappointed. Don't expect Fishing/Hunting to be a big part of what they do.
  10. Glad that Barbara and I managed to get up there for a few days............great to see you Diane and Sherri again.
  11. Don't know the area below Dallas Rapids at all but have talked to guides who do and according to them it's a rock and shoal nightmare out there for those who are new to the area. The one guide who has 30 years running Dallas down to the bay says that he finds at least a couple of rocks he never knew were there every year. The guys I know run 20' Alaskans with up to 90 tillers. I would carry an extra prop for sure.
  12. Do yourself a huge favour and buy the 4 door Sahara. Very little difference between the Rubi and the Sahara. The 4 door give you a much better on road ride and much more room. Just my 0.02............
  13. I would consider Paris Vegas too.
  14. I like it Simon, politically correct or not it tells a story..............
  15. I agree......100%! Let's not dwell too much on how we would like to remove their gonads with a rusty blade, they were caught and punished.
  16. On that note Simon, I won't give him the addresses that I was going to..............
  17. Couldn't get me up there. I get vertigo standing on a chair!
  18. I'm with Terry, it gives a pretty cool look at the structure down there. You can definitely tell what it is you are looking at. I have a 9 series humminbird combo without it and if I was replacing it (big money) I would invest the extra $$$.
  19. You know how to pick good wine (and good women) boss!
  20. Very sorry to hear of your loss. You wrote a great tribute to your Grandpa. I'm sure that he will be with you always.
  21. Naaaaa, he's muscle bound Joey.........
  22. Could be a Zinnia or hybrid Chrysanthemum?
  23. E Send it to Photobucket and post it from there...
  24. Very well said Dana
